I just wanted to start one of these for myself, so please help me make this thread worth while. The grind begins soon...

Here is the event schedule: http://www.usopen.org/en_US/scores/schedule/eventschedule.html

I got a question about the TV Schedule. What's that coverage this early Monday morning all about? Have they always done that for the Open?

I also have this article to share: http://www.usopen.org/en_US/news/articles/2005-08-27/200508271125154897055.html

Grosjean is looking good. He defeated ToJo with relative ease and is unseeded. He has experience of making it deep into slams.

Wawrinka also looked impressive. The young swiss into the third rd in his first US Open. He looks a decent player with a big serve.

Too much tennis for viewing right now. I'm taking a break to watch Blake during the night session.

Haas def Schuttler 7-6, 6-2, 6-0

Younger generation: Nadal, Berdych, Murray, Wawrinka, Gasquet are looking strong.

but some of the older guns are also looking to make some noise: Agassi, Haas, Grosjean and Santoro.
