The real reason for OP's unease surfaces finally.
It's all about Federer having more rest. They already know that Federer will be in the sf and final and started whining 10 days in advance that he will have more rest than the other finalist.
Interesting part is Nadal and Federer after years and years on tour never complained about the tournament schedule on any major. One day rest, two day rest, no day rest.. they have played it all won or lose. Only armchair pundits would cry about unfairness because if their player wins he is a hero and if he loses he was tired. No surprised here.

I don't think the OP is hiding anything.
He is stating quite clearly that the scheduling is significantly unfair.
If Murray had Federer's favourable scheduling, I would be saying the same thing.
I wouldn't want Murray to play a disadvantaged player.
I want him to win it properly.
How do you want your player to win?

100% Agree. Of course it's a fact.
Federer gets 14 days to play 7 matches.
Murray gets only 12 days to play 7 matches.
Only a thick person would argue that is fair.
Some numpty went on about the cream will rise to the top BS.
The scheduling is either stupid or it's a fix.
