USOpen draw backfire on Andy?

Recently Barry posted a thread regarding the US Open draw and how there was a conspiracy that allowed Andy to stay away from Federer. Looks like it backfired. Andy's easy draw sent him home :p. Could it be true that because they kept him away from Federer, other commitee forces required him to have a more difficult road to the finals as "trade-off"?

Anybody who thought Roddick's draw was easy knows nothing about tennis.

actually the draw is made in a private room, closed to the public. unless ur an accredited media member who the usta selects. or at least thats what someone posted when they tried to go see it.

the guy was ranked #69 in the world for a reason, just because he beats ur idle doesnt make him a great player.

There's no point in complaining about the draw, especially in light of the fact that he lost on his favorite surface to a guy ranked outside top 50. It's a serious wakeup call for Andy.

i thought after his win over hewitt he was on his way back. though hewitt had bad calls andy still beat a top opponent for the first time in a year.

Absolutely. Muller (A finalist at one of the US Open Series tournaments) was no easy first round opponent. Genepri was next, and he beat Roddick a few weeks ago. Then comes Haas, who Roddick doesn't have a great record against. The "Easy Draw Conspiracy" was started by a board user whose hatred of Roddick out weighs their sense.
