Help!

My curiosity itch has come back. I am trying very hard not to expand my collection (3 Prostaff 6.0 95s, 1 POG OS are the current mains, 2 Ti radicals (now retired temporarily) and some more). PS6.0 95s are very satisfying and I am really focusing on my game (gladly, since I settled myself with PS and POG OS, it's improving fast(IMO)!).

Last night I saw a guy using Volkl V1 classic. I retired Ti radicals because I began feeling they are light. The V1 wasn't heavy enough (<11oz) but it felt good in my hand (didn't play it though). So I did search here to find out some posts on the racquet. It seems it's very successful tweener racquet which works well too for advanced player. Power is good, arm friendly, quality product. But precision is not really a 'players' racquet' level. Also someone suggestest V1 as a good intro level racquet and I believe even a beginner can beneifit from a good tweener racquet. Now, I'd like to hear a little more (especially, negative comments welcome too-need to keep my collection to reasonable size ^^) about V1 or other Volkl sticks (C10 seems very popular too. What about quantum or catapult version V1?). Thanks in advance.

I play the V1 Classic. There's not a single shot that this racquet doesn't do well. I have pinpoint accuracy with it despite the ample power available... but then again I have a medium length stroke. Those who take big cuts at the ball might not have the same results.

the V1 Classic is just that. a classic. volkl has had it in their line for 10 years now and it is a frame that can be used by folks of pretty much any skill level. it is the one racquet i most often recommend when a lesson asks me 'what should i switch to'. it's a safe frame to recommend. the frame is pretty light but it isnt very headlight at all..more evenly balanced and is very solid and there is no bad feedback in spite of it being stiff. it is also easy to spin, easy to move, very good control, and good but not great power..it's certainly no pd+. this frame is also good at all the shots and will supoort whatever game you have, and you arent going to outgrow this frame. lots of really good players use it. the 10th anniversary edition seems to be a slightly modernized version of the frame..a bit more pop. you can also easily customize this frame because of its lighter static weight and pretty even balance

Python has a point....I take a pretty big swipe at the ball and found I had terrible control with this racquet when I tried it years ago. Great Volkl comfort, but the combination of large hitting surface and stiff flex spells doom for big swingers.

Another question. C10 seems very popular. How does it play? People say Volkl racquets are comfortable and DIFFERENT from other make's sticks. How different? My main nowadays is Prostaff6.0 95 and occasionally POG OS. I appreciate your input, thanks!

big swingers can most often tame the power by spinning the ball , stringing tightly, or using a non lively string, but i agree...this isnt a low powered frame.
