KANZA, are the Hamptons and Manhattan shirts based on anything?
One of the biggest mistakes I ever made!
Moncler had a great shirt back in spring 2016:
I liked it, but (to me) the stripes were on the wrong side. After all, I need to put the logo on the left chest.
I also wanted a red and navy stripe. I made a sample in summer 2016:
I never took it to production. I kept putting it off in favor of other projects (particularly the women’s line).
Finally in spring 2018 Nike takes the Moncler design and uses it for Federer’s last Nike polo:
It would have been cool to have the design in our line before Nike.
Despite the fact that the Federer shirt was already introduced, I didn’t like the colors.
So I redid it with a better color scheme.

Still loving everything about these tennis clothes and durability seems pretty good. Also have a couple of pair of the socks and even the darned socks are fantastic! Looking forward to this January release and maybe grab a couple of more items
It will be great to have Stefan 1988 Wimby shirt. Also like to have Lendl 1986-87 shirt.Yes, I’ll have one for you @J011yroger
Coffee cup? Which one is that? I love the 1990 Wimbledon “rain and thunder” looking shirt. The 1988 is also great. Edberg won both years.
Did he actually wear the bottom dark one? I only remember and can find pics of the top lt. blue shirt. I actually like the dark one better.I’ve got the edberg bug. Someone really got to me two weeks ago on Instagram. Not the 87 or 88 though. That one is tough because of the giant SE. it’s not an easy sell, except to Edberg fans. Besides, my favorite design year is 1990. So I took on the challenge of the Wimbledon winner and it’s accompanying colorway. samples in process, and I’m a bit nervous about how well it’s going to come out.
Why would someone want/need 15 pairs of wristbands, especially when they are all the same.Someone bought 15 pairs of wristbands, almost clearing me out of my remaining stock. Seriously, that’s 30 bands I packed into one box.
So yes, I am designing some new wristbands.
As for socks, I’ve got plain black and plain white. Stripes on the socks? Maybe, if there’s a design I like enough to pull the trigger

What about going a Lendl argyle shirt....or is that too tied into Adidas?
he wore the black top earlier that year at the 1990 Australian Open and some spring indoor events. Edberg lost to Lendl in the final of AO after retiring in the 4th set.
I like the dark one better, too. It goes well with faded black jeans
Winner Master 1990 and MS Bercy 1989Did he actually wear the bottom dark one? I only remember and can find pics of the top lt. blue shirt. I actually like the dark one better.

Thanx! I do like the darker colorway much better. I'm surprised Adidas didn't reissue some of these when they put out the Edberg shoes.Winner Master 1990 and MS Bercy 1989

It’s on the original, so I kept it. It seems a bit out of place, but I kept that part true to the original design. What is that logo like design "-)0" on the back right shoulder?
I hope there are many Stefan's fans. Also you could make your own logo instead - VT - Vollaix Tennis for example.I’ve got the edberg bug. Someone really got to me two weeks ago on Instagram. They did not reissue any Edberg or Lendl apparel, didn't they?Thanx! I do like the darker colorway much better. I'm surprised Adidas didn't reissue some of these when they put out the Edberg shoes.

G R E A T!!I’ll report on the progression of the edberg. Phase 2, printing fabric:
G R E A T!!
.....So would there be the possibility of bringing to life other historical polos like Agassi Us Open 1994 and 1995 and Rafter period 1998 - 1999 with current fabrics?
Ok thanks ... maybe soon I'll contact you privately for one of these ... I know your sitePotentially. We’ve already done so many others already over the last 5 years: Becker, mac, Edberg, Krickstein, Connors, Ashe, Chang, Kuerten, Billie Jean king, Borg, Sampras, Yannick Noah, and Wilander (not out yet- holding it as a June release). People write me and ask for me to make a certain shirt. sometimes I think it’s a good idea, so I do it. Other times i like the design, but I don’t think it’s enough to break even. The audience for it is too small. Rarely (and this is my favorite instance) someone asks me to make a custom shirt for them. I do it, but it’s expensive. We make it, I order an extra one for myself, and the final product wins me over. Then I add it to the next upcoming Spring or Fall line.
Btw, can anybody help me. When first poly tennis clothes appeared?
So Nike was the first or smbd else?@BorgCash
Dri Fit dates from 1990. Golf & Tennis shirts
Adidas?CoolMax in 1986 was the first one that I remember
I wanted something with a Southwest feel. I shop everywhere looking for ideas. I always liked the Polo Ralph Lauren SW sweaters and shirts. They’ve been doing it for years. I saw a SW inspired cotton tee last spring at Rue21 (yes, I look everywhere for ideas). Just thought, “if we can do a Hawaiian shirt, surely we can do a Southwestern/Mayan art inspired piece.”@KANZA What is the story/inspiration behind the "Phoenix" shirt? Never seen anything like that before....really cool and different.
Beauty? Seriously? It’s a mish moshed epic fail. Hideous. Next!Look at this beauty!

Combined with the black shorts they 'll have a certain effect and I think they will be appreciated by many fans.
Thanks, regards
