Western with dense string pattern?

I'm seriously considering switching to a more dense string patterned racquet because they feel a lot more crisp and solid when hitting, the only problem is that I feel that using said string pattern, I won't be able to generate the same ammount of spin as a 16x19 racquet. Has anyone else had such an experience? I know Patty Schnyder on the WTA tour uses a dense string pattern and still produces fairly wicked spin, but will I be able to transition well, as of now I can't really see a spin difference but...yeah.

Im a western'er quite high ranked in my country and i use a fxp prestige mid. When you hit this properly i dont notice too much loss of spin
