Here is a photo of Muraay at the 2004 Wimbledon using a LM Radical MP paint job on the HEAD PT57 Mold with the Radical Trisys 260 MidPlus layup.

For personal reasons Murray believes and feels that if he does not have the matte black paint on his PT57 Mold with the Radical Trisys 260 midplus Layup his racquets will play differently. That is why he has not changed paint jobs.

I have few LM radical TOUR MP which weigh more than the standard LM radical and probably the only "NEW" technology racquet from head which I liked. Very nice frame with proper weight distribution throughout the frame.

VSB have you tried that frame? Could Djokovic and Murray have somewhat similar specs as the LM radical TOUR?

check out my review of that frame on TW

Djokovic used the LM Radical MP before he signed with Wilson.

What do think can you make out "Tour" on the last photo? It does not matter anyway because when Head makes the racquets for the players on Tour they are unweighted racquets ( how they come out of the mold and painted). Then Head will customize the racquets or Head will send the unweighted racquets to the player's customizer to have the work done. But I think Djokovic is some where around the LM Radical Tour's specs.
Murray I think is heavier that the LM Radical Tour specs. I think Murray is around 370g or so maybe a little heavier. I think Thomas Martinez posted what Murray's weight and balance is at some point.

I have not hit with the LM Radical Tour. I did hit with the LM Radical MP when it first came out with a lot of lead on it.

no i can not make out the tour in that photo, I will take photos of my LMradicalTour and post it with specs, I also have played with the normal LM radical which was junk. I also added lead here and there but it did not play as solid as the Tour version. I will post specs, off the top of my head it is around 12oz stock with 33cm balance

It is the HEAD PT57 mold with the original Radical Trisys 260 MP layup with C.A.P grommets.
are you saying the mold/shape of the racquet is the PT57 and the materials are that of a Radical Trisys 260 MP???

i am familiar with composite materials (even done a few wet lay-ups and pre-pregs while in school), but i'm not familiar with the process for making a tennis racquet... anybody have any insight? links? photos?

Yes the Mold of the racquet is called PT57 internally at Head. The materials are that of the Radical Trisys 260 MP. Incidently the Radical Trisys 260 MP is one of the racquets that use the PT57 mold. There are several other racquets that were sold to the public that use that same mold.

These photos are from a factory in China. Murray's racquets are made in Austria.

I heard Brad Gilbert saying during the davis cup that Murray is now using a much lighter swingweight racket to protect his wrist after injury.

Yeah I heard him being interviewed during the US Open where he said he changed to a more even balance as opposed to his old head-heavy setup.

in some of the tennis magizines he is using a microgel radical on like the advertisment page. I will try to get pics from somewhere.
