What's comparable to Original PS95 (Midplus)

I love my Wilson Original 6.0 PS95 (Midplus) racquests. Since Wilson no longer make these models, I was wondering which racquests is the same as the Original 6.0 PS95. Please share your experiences. Thanks.

I've been a fan of the TW edition of the Donnay Pro One midplus since it came out and some of the comments I've read here have compared that frame favorably with the 6.0 95. The Donnay is rather soft overall, but a couple of comparisons noted that the Pro One has a mildly less flexible hoop than the Wilson. I'll bet that these two are pretty close.

Not the k90 or 88 since they swing much heavier and play very differently at net. I'm yet to find a better volleying frame than the 6.0 95. The donnay is too flexy and is not quite the same when you're setting up sliced approach shots. In my experience, I've found the AG 200 and RDS 002 tour to come close to the same feel as the 6.0 95 and similar results at net.

Try the Volkl DNX 9...I played with the PS 95 for 10 years and searched high and low for a replacement...the Volkl DNX 9 was my choice...and...once you strip away the sentimentality and nostalgia...I like it better than the PS 95. At the very least demo one.

Dunlop has larger sweetspot and offers more power without sacrificing control. Dunlop feels much firmer.

Fairly difficult to find a racquet that's close to the 6.0 95. With the 6.0s, I've always appreciated their 80 graphite/20 kevlar composition -- great combo of feel and power. (I wish Wilson would bring it back!)

I like diehard's suggestion below -- and yes, the AG200 does feel firmer. It serves beautifully, having a nice firmness in the upper hoop where the 6.0 is so soft.

I agree with the Donnay Pro One International; the mold is very similar to the PS95 w/o the PWS on the sides.

AG 200 16x19 looks like a good option to me, although I haven't tried it yet. I like the AG 4D 200 paintjob better, but the 16x19 currently seems to be available only in Europe, is that correct?

Honestly, there is no racket on the market like the 6.0 95. There are rackets that have a similar feel, but nothing with a similar SW+ the same feel.

Hardly anyone (anyone?) makes traditionally weighted players sticks - high static weight, low swingweight, very headlight balance - like the PS95 anymore. K90 and KPS88, with their ProStaff heritage are somewhat similar, but both are more polarized.

Add 20 grams of lead at the top of the handle and 1 gram at 12 o'clock on a Volkl DNX9 and you'd have the same specs. That's a lot of lead, but you could do it discreetly and reversibly to a demo and find out how it feels.

^^^ That's very interesting, diehard... TW's measured the 16X19's weight as 11.7oz/333g and sw 326. Swinging mine, sw feels like ~315, as you say. I wish it were 326.

If you put some lead tape around the buttcap of the Donnay Pro One International- about 10 grams- the weight will be 4 grams away from the PSC 6.1 and the balance will be almost the same. They play very, very similar.

PS 6.0 95 has a much stiffer throat than the Donnay, which makes it more solid on volleys. The Donnay has a nice soft flex to it but flexes a bit too much when trying to volley really hard hit passing shots.
