When will wilson discontinue the "K" models

I'm ready to change rackets. I need something a little heavier like the K-factor, but the ones I've demoed are staying around $200. I'd like to know when wilson will come out with new models, so the "K"s drop in price. I'm thinking the new line will be introduced fairly soon, so to save some money, I'm willing to wait a while. Anyone out there have an idea when this should happen?

I have a little tennis shop where I buy any wilson racket for $140. including the ps88 or fed's racket. I just ordered a k6.1 95

Instead of waiting for the Kfactor line to discontinue, try out the Ncode series. If you're waiting for the Kfactor 6.1 95 the Ncode 95 is just as good. At least that way you can have racquets to play with for the time being until Wilson brings out a new line.

Hey antgun007, can you give me contact info on the shop. I would gladly pay $140 when everyone else is asking $199

I don't think you will see them discontinued for a while. I work part time at a club and the Wilson rep brought by some new frames this week that have cutouts in the throat so this is the new models of the K series. I have to say that after hitting with a couple of them they feel really cheap and flimsy. Bad move on wilson's part IMO.

If you want a heavier racket, you will LOVE the KPS88.

That shop is violating Wilson's dealer guidelines in that case.

No they're not. A shop can sell a racquet at ANY price they choose. It's the public advertised prices of racquets that is governed by the MAP policy.

There's a HUGE difference between the 2 concepts here.
