Which players with 1hbh have the best ROS?

The best ROS by common consensus are players with 2hbh - murray, agassi, djok etc. I understand it's harder to have good returns on high balls to the bh with a 1hbh because you can't come over the top of the ball quite as well as with the 2hbh.
Even so, which players with 1hbh have the best ROS (and why do you think so), and how do they compare to some of the best 2hbh returners such as agassi?

Federer of course. He gets his racquet on a lot of balls and makes returns. They may not be the most aggressive, but he can rely on the rest of his game to back him up even if the return is short/weak.

He made a career out of his return game. For evidence, see his history with a big server like Roddick.

Actually, Federer. He is one of the best returners of all time. No, probably not as good as Djokovic or Murray, but he is right up there with them. The reason is because his slice is soooo freaking good. Federer, like almost every good returner such as Agassi, can step inside the baseline and take the return early. If it goes to his backhand, he has the option of coming over it (which he is starting to do much more often now) or if its high, slice it low. That's why he is so good. He can absorb almost all power with his slice.

I think this is a common misconception.

You can come over a high ball better with the 1hbh (loop it back with heavy spin) - but you can drive through a high ball better with a 2hbh.

To answer the question, those who take the ball early with the 1hbh generally have good reflexes, feel and co-ordination which are skills that translate well to ROS. Other than Federer, Haas comes to mind.

I always liked blake and haas for 1hbh return of serve. Federer is probably the best but he neutralizes a lot of serves with his return, not as aggressive as the other two.

You sure? You mean you?

I'd have to say Federer. Getting it back is the most important.

Federer. The 2-handers like Murray and Djokovic are better at driving their 2-handed returns with pace, but Federer is absolutely amazing at just getting it back in play, deep, with some spin. It's a different sort of return, but it's really really good. He's less consistent off his backhand when he tries to go for a power return, but he's just so much harder to ace and to hit service winners against.

LOL Federer. Seriously guys, stahp. Kuerten or Gasquet are ostentatiously superior in that department. 90% of Fed's returns are slices, weak sauce ones to boot.

In the match against Sampras, Federer was able to make some great plays when Sampras served high to Fed's backhand

I loved watching blake in his prime. He may not have played smart at times (heard he was stubborn) but he does what he wants to do with a lot of conviction, even if that mean smacking the hell out of the ball and go for broke. It was very entertaining to watch nonetheless.

Gasquet seems to use his backhand more on returns of serve than Federer, who sometimes will step around them and use a forehand.

Are there stats available for return of serves from the backhand? It would be good to compare quantitatively to see who has a better return % and who wins points on that wing.

P.S. Blake has to play qualifiers for this years Aussie Open!? Wow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGp_9_wtN70
