G.O.A.T.
Sarcasm on the internet makes you look stupid.
You're a regular king of the comebacks aren't you.
You rock dude. Seriously; you're great. No, really - you are.

Enough it with the rapier-like wit dude - my ribs are hurting. You're right again. Murray is just a big baby - pusher too.
Imagine having a 3-6 H2H to a big baby pusher; how much would that suck.
He seemed to recover just fine after the last time he lost to Roger.
I think that would force me to cry at times that I would later regret.
Your thoughts on the draw batz?
Yeah but this time it appeared Roger was focused 100% into the match, where as their other matches (which I know for sure Federer wanted to win, but he seemed not to be "focused" so to speak) he didn't seem to be.
When you lose that slight mental edge though, Federer pounces and takes advantage.

LOL
Hey Joe.
I think Roger has a pretty good draw. Rafa too - although Tsonga could give him a wee fright. Novak v Roddick will be interesting again. Murray has a mare - pretty much the draw I picked on the 'pick your worst draw' thread:shock:
Ah, but remember Murray wasn't the one shedding big tears after a tough loss at a Slam, was he?

You miss the point. The last time Murray lost to Fed was in the USO final. If he was going to have mental issues facing Federer after losing to him; how come they weren't manifest in the next 4 matches after what must've been a crushing defeat?
Also, he won the next 2 matches after losing to Roger the 1st time.
The empirical evidence seems to suggest that the opposite of your contention is true - Murray seems to deal with a defeat to Roger pretty well.
Yes, I'm rather pleased with Roger's draw, I won't lie. Murray does have it tough, although I think he will still come through it.
Yes but the Cincinnati loss is different though. They were in two different positions at the time. At the USO final, Federer utterly destroyed Murray, but he was the expected to do that and a heavy favorite to win that match anyways.
Cincinnati was different. In fact, the bookies had Murray as a marginal to significant favorite over Federer. It's quite different when you are supposed to be the favorite, yet you lose.
No it wan't. It was a meaningless three set tournament of no material importance. At least that's what they are when Murray wins them.
Maybe you're right Nam - maybe Fed did strike a major psychological blow. We'll see.
Last time i checked people have emotions. Nice try.
But most people reach an age of emotional maturity at some point.
Cool. It's nice to meet someone who has gone through the same things as Federer has in his life and knows exactly what kind of effects they have had on his mentality.
Easily?
You have never beat him easily, you preek.
OK. You're right. Murray went on public record saying he could beat Roger Federer easily - meaning he would straight set Roger if they met.
Yep, Murray says stuff like that about players all the time. Only last week he was on TV saying how Rafa was his beeatch, Novak wasn't fit to be on the same court and that Pete wouldn't have lucky not to have to face him as no way would Pete have 14 slams.
It means Murray will turn up at every match knowing he has to be at his best; which might be a good thing - he can have a tendency to play at his opponent's level +1% in early round macthes.
All I am saying is that Murray is no more of a baby than Federer. I wouldn't say either of them are, necessarily.
Clearly not what he meant.
He obviously meant that even if he loses in Cinci (which he did), the result could just as easily by reversed at the USO.
Welcome back from the cooler mate.
It's annoying. When he coasts he doesn't play well and makes life needlessly difficult for himself. I hope he brings his A-game to the earlier rounds this time.
Nice to be back.
Welcome back Clydey, just in time for the big one
Good to have some solid opposition back for the US Open.
Switching subjects, did I see a potential Lopez (your avatar, right?)-Karlovic second round? May be a few aces in that matchup.
Rafael Nadal paid a leg and a half to stop him through 2008 and early 09, and now he is all but spent.
Murray got (bloody) hot last week and still lost in straights.
Djoker was handed a breadstick.
Dear Del Potro has always lost, not made for 5 sets.
I remember Pat Mac at this years AO saying he will never dominate again,
I say if he wins USO he is back on dominating, ever since Madrid.
