With Nadal and Wawrinka out in the first round, Isner injuring his knee and retiring against Mannarino, Paire is the only seeded player left in this part of the draw.

Hewitt is the second best ranked player @ #82 but he's down 2 sets to none against the rasta man right now.

Will Hewitt find a way to win today and show us why he was one of the best grass players more than ten years ago? Will the crazy Frenchman keep his head cool and reach his first GS QF? Or will it be a cinderella story for a journeyman outside the top 100?

I hope BPaire replaces RNadal as he is the highest seed among those you mentioned.

I like Mannarino's tennis, but I think he won because Isner retired.

Not only that - it looks like whoever Darcis played next got a walkover, and I haven't had a chance to get to the bottom of that yet.

Dustin Brown to cruise to the QF hitting half volley drop shots and smacking forehands. :)

It's a real shocker how dangerous players like Wawrinka and Isner were knocked out and only lower level players are left.

Kubot has already reached the 4th round here in 2011. That makes him a good pick.

OTOH, it's Brown's first ever 3rd round at any slam.

Update: Paire now up 2 sets to none against Robert.

Dustin Brown! Serve & Volley might actually work at this Wimbledon, and he's got crazy shots coming out every other point it seems. His interview with the Wimbledon Live was so adorable. He traveled around Europe in a camper van to go to the tournaments without paying for hotels.
