This is a tough call for me... I like both players. However the Cinderella breakthrough story would be more satisfying, I believe. It's been many years that we have few or zero surprises on tour.

I have been pulling for Krajinovic ever since I saw him play live at a future's tournament years ago. He lost the final to Ryan Harrison but my impression was that he was the better of the two, and his career was nearly ruined at a young age by surgery and a long recovery and climb back up the rankings.

i think pavel had a 'direct acceptance' entry into the draw (canada 2001), didn't he ?...

but he lost the final of bercy 2003 as a qualifier...

I agree. Ever since the RG retirement he has been hopeless (except US Open). He doesn't stand a chance. Sock might have an okay chance in WTF but honestly unless he has his forehand firing perfectly he has less chance of winning than PCB.

Maybe. But maybe he had such problems with his health that if he can stay healthy he could stay where he is. He seems to have a good game.

I don't in any way dislike Sock, but I don't like his game. For one thing, it is too one-sided. He almost depends on his forehand the way Isner depends on his serve.

I want Krajinovic to win because its such a great story to see a futures/challenger player win a 1000. Also it trolls Forget for making those dumb comments.

But then, I live less than an hour away from Sock so he's the local hero and technically I have to root for him.

Think I'll support Kraj but if Sock wins thats cool too
