Now that Novak is out, who would you make favourite? I make Federer favourite, even though he is 34 years old going on 35, I still would not fancy Murray to be able to beat him. What do you reckon?
Murray is the slight favorite over Federer. If they both make the final, I'd favor Federer.
Alternatively these upsets could make the path even more easier for Roger.Murray is the slight favorite over Federer. If they both make the final, I'd favor Federer.
At his age, the easier his path to the final, the better his chances in the final (if he gets there). I've felt for a while now that Federer has Murray "figured out". The only question is if he's still got the necessary level.Alternatively these upsets could make the path even more easier for Roger.
So can't say he'd be the clear favourite there in final.
50/50 i'd think if he gets there.
Nadal is toast, bro.Murray, simply because he's the highest-ranked player left in the draw.
That being said, if Nadal didn't withdraw from Wimbledon 2016, I would have had him placed as the favourite. Nadal played some of his best-ever tennis at Roland Garros 2016 before his campaign was interrupted by a wrist, forcing him out with injury. Without that obstacle, Nadal would have continued his slam dominance over Dj and danced his way to a 15th slam (and 10th RG). And then Nadal, just like in 2010, would make the effortless transition to grass-courts (that Dj simply isn't capable of).
