why cant i choose my racket??

For about 6 months I’ve been playing with 2 rackets;
Wilson Ncode Six-one
Babolat AeroPro Drive.

Ultimately I cannot continue to play with both, I need to choose one and stick with it – it’s not helping my game keep switching.

The trouble is I cannot decide between the 2, I was hoping some of you guys might help me decide.

By game style is modern, all shots have topspin, in fact I struggle to hit flat shots. I use a SW forehand and a 1hb. On a typical forehand my swing ends above my left shoulder rather than under my left arm pit.

My gut feel…
The babolat has too much power (too many times this is not controlled).
The babolat has too much spin (I think I produce enough natural spin and don’t need a spin racket)
The Wilson is accurate
The Wilson feels like it doesn’t have enough power, however I have strung lower and have noticed an increase in power

My gut feel is that I should stick with the Wilson.

What should I stick with? Its taken me 6 months and still don’t know!! Any other consideration?

Stick with the wilson nsix one. I'm assuming its the 95 version, and not the tour 90.
String the wilson with some SPPP and then u will never think about switching your racquet again.

Also, how does the nsix one 95 not have enough power, it has plenty of power. Maybe you are just stringing too tightly, try stringing in the mid range, about 55lbs

why you choose this racquets to demo ? didnt you demo any other racquet ? maybe you should demo some others racquets...

The Wilson i have is indeed the 95.

Do you suggest any other rackets?

I suggest Yonex frames, RDS 001 MP and RDX 500 MP, these frames has less power than APD and more than n6.1, both are control oriented and powerfull frames, but not so control oriented than n6.1...

It sounds like you have already decided what you want. Seeing as only the Wilson has any positives.

Really? I find the n6.1 to be more powerful...

a bigger sweet spot turn yonex more powerfull than n6.1 I guess, I tried n.6.1 (standard version, not team version) and both yonex strungged equal, nylon strings, at 60 lbs.

I think he wants to stick with either the n6.1 or PD, and not spend more money on another racket. Then he would have 3 to play with.

I think that the n6.1 is the way to go. It is less stiff, so it will not hurt your arm as much, and it is better overall on everything except for serving, where the PD shines.
