Add to that the fact that (even though there are a lot of internationals on here, which is good), this is still a US based forum. If it was a England-based forum it'd be a lot more threads about Alex Bogdanovic and Murray choking in slams (even more than we have already), if this was an Aussie based forum you'd see more threads about Bernard Tomic, Carsten Ball and Chris Guccione...the point is, Young gets flak for not living up to the hype, when there's a lot of players who haven't lived up to their hype level, not only currently (Gulbis, Dimitrov) but all throughout history.

Did any of those players boast they wanted to win every slam event atleast twice.

Blake is not much of a threat to racists because he is more meek, docile and has not been a threat to win anything big because he doesn't even believe in himself.

LOL what is Young a threat to win. The girls juniors titles if he dresses up in disguise. Blake in his prime was ten times the threat Young will ever be (even though he was never a real threat to win slams himself).
