My tennis shoes just broke. I need new shoes that are durable for every day practices, but the problem is, I have wide feet, so it is difficult to find wide and durable shoes. I hope to find shoes that are under $60. I have usedthrough the shoe finder search in tennis warehouse, but I read bad reviews on some wide and "durable" shoes. Any suggestions?

Very affordable, comfy also.I have wide feet as well and they fit fine.Comes with a 6 month warranty also.Another bonus is there in you're price range.
If you fell like treating yourself for X-Mas go for the NB 1004's Nice shoe with variable widths.Warranty also.Liitle bit costly but I'll recommend them.Hope this helps Take Care!

CB 1.3s and Cages are not for wide feet...

The New Balances recommended above are a good idea. I also recommend Prince shoes. Prince T22s, T9s, and OC-1 wide. Maybe the T8s too. Depends where your feet is wide and how wide they are. Check those out first. Hope this helps.

All New Balances are available in different widths. I personnally have the MC 803 and I really like them. Very stable. Gonna get another pair soon actually. My last pair lasted me about 9 months playing 3 times a week.

If you buy a New Balance shoe above your $60 price point, expect about a 6 month life. If you buy some of the cheaper New Balance, you may be lucky to get two months out of them. Treat your wide feet to 2 $90 NBs per year and you won't break the bank AND you will have a comfy pair of shoes.

Okay, I broke it down to:

New Balance MC 655
New Balance MC 654
Nike City Court IV WIDE
Prince T9 Roadster

Which of these are the most durable? Please say how many hour you guys play per week and how long the shoes last. I am leaning towards the t9 and the MC 655, but I don't know how all the above shoes compare. Thanks for any future responses.

the T9's have very durable soles. the uppers aren't built as tough. that said they still have lasted past the 6 month mark. i usually play once or twice a week and i don't think i'm too hard on equipment...but i do run down a lot of balls. these are my 2nd pair of T9s so I liked them enough to buy again.

haven't worn Reeboks in a long time so can't comment on them.

Never tried Nike or Prince. Have had pretty good luck with NB except for the Big Box store El Cheapo NBs.

If I could add another to the list...the adidas Tour CLS. It is available in a wide size and is leather so it should stretch a bit if still tight. Also, it has the adiwear6 sole so the durability should be good.

I'd recommend New Balance 803. It's not only wide, but also very tall in the toebox. Unbelievable roomy. I've had mine for 3 months and hardly any signs of wear. I play about six hours a week.
