Will he continue to play so long that he'll eventually end up there, or will he even if he's 42 still play at the stadium courts just because of his status?? How was that with Pete Sampras or Andre Agassi for instance?
edit: I only mean at Slams
Yes he will, he will drop down the rankings when he gets old. And then he'll have to play on outside courts.
IIRC Sampras was sent to an outside court when he lost that Wimbledon match against Georg Bastl, so yes, if a player falls outside the top four, he will have to play on the outside courts during the first rounds.
YUP if he DROPS out of the TOP 4!!!!!!!
Surely he will play in a outside court!!!!!
The 7 time Wimbledon champion should never have been put on court 2.
Hewitt usually plays on outside courts now....
But it depends how good you are at the end of your prime. Federer's prime is clearly over, yet he is still cearly one of the top 4 players in the world
I don't know about the crowd Fed draws. I mean, ok, that's true, but what if, say by the time Fed is 32 (let's just assume he's still playing), he's ranked 19th in the world or sth. He might just have to play on an outside court, no?
