not necessarily. and if you recall that at the australian open federer's movement against djokovic was pretty lousy, and he's improved it somewhat, as well as the us open court is much faster, which federer excels at. i will agree that nadal was damned close last year at wimbledon, but he's had a bit of a falling off in recent months, and consequently may not be as much of a challenger this year.
djokovic is good, but dont assume he will whomp on federer every meeting, and dont assume federer will have to play both 1 after another. the draw doesnt work that way. only thing for certain is he would have to play nadal in the final, if nadal gets that far.
Oh theres always an excuse for any of feds losses. They cant all be true.Did he ever just get beat?
The Joker should have beaten Fed at the USO and when he got his nerves together for the AO he simply beat Fed. End of story.
I dont think Feds movement was lousy at all. In fact just prior to the match he said he was at 100 percent and ready to go. Only after he lost did he come up with the expected excuse.
But I was disappointed...i thought he would have had a more original excuse this time. I thought for example that his shadows excuse in another loss showed far more originaity. I give the mono excuse only a 6 out of 10 but the shadow excuse a clear 9 out of ten.
Nadal has not done a bit of falling off. Its simply the hard court season. Wr hear this every year.
