Will Nadal ever win a slam after becoming a father?

Honestly its not just that. He’s now 36 with a slew of injuries that he’s constantly battling. I’d just put him as the favorite for the French every year.

at the time of the exho at Capetown, Fed's Dad said his grand daughters can't speak Swiss German and he wants them to.
He said they speak excellent English with a British accent as their nannies are all British

This doesn't seem like a very useful anecdote to judge Roger and Mirka's parenting. I don't speak my ancestral tongue and my parents never employed nannies - in their case, it's likely hard to keep it when you grow up on the road with everyone around you communicating in English. Plus Mirka's first language wasn't swiss german from what I understand so there's not going to be a consistent input that way either

Federer raised 4 kids, had to laugh at this one - with their army of nannies he could have raised about 50
Name one celebrity with even one kid who doesn't have nannies. Madonna had four of them, Angelina Jolie had five nannies. Calling out Fed for this is hysterical. Djokovic also has 2 nannies for his two kids.

Mirka's mother tongue is Slovakian, not Swiss German. Fed's daughters speak Slovakian.
All true, though Fed's four kids all speak three languages, as Roger has said: Slovakian, Swiss-German and English. Lynnette Federer has always spoken nothing but English to them since their birth, as she's said.

Rafa said at his press conference in Mallorca in the middle of June: “… I'm going to be a father. I don't know how this is going to change my life, but I don't expect it to change my professional career.” (Translated from Spanish via Google)

Nonetheless, Nadal was never a fatherhood until now. All these years, he had a lot easier path to glory when compare to his rivalries.

If he does or doesn’t, it’ll have nothing do with him being a father, no matter how appealing the narrative is.
The degree of difficulty at winning slams is huge between being a father and being single. I hold the former winner to a higher standard than the latter winner.

Now I understood the purpose of creating this thread! :-D This is yet another attempt from a Fed devotee to put his beloved player on a pedestal.

Yea was also already surprised that TMF creates such a thread which at first sight has nothing to do with trying to elevate Fed in the GOAT discussion. Now it becomes all clear.
