I really wanted Karlovic to win but I didn't think it could actually happen. If he win this is gonna be crazy.

Karlovic not doing much on Tsongas serve either. When he's been in a rally lately hes blasted forehands 3 meters past the baseline.

even if this goes to 5 sets, I doubt Tsonga can break karlovic.
anyways, if it goes to 5 sets, karlovic could end up with 60 aces.. :)

Told you Tsonga was overrated and to think people picked him to win the whole thing
Max Wellander can get down on his knees and make the French man feel better.

Dude Karlovic is serving at 76%. How do you beat someone like that on a surface like this?

Excuses :-| Roddick served big when he played Roger twice in the final
but Federer found away to take him apart. Tsonga's just overrated.

Roddick's serve doesn't come as angled as Karlovic's.

3-3 all in the tiebreak.

as much as i want tsonga to win, i'm sympathetic to karlovic, who has lost in the first round of wimbledon for the past 4 years.

Karlovic is beatable but with these percentages he is pretty much unbreakable. One or two points in a tiebreaker should do it.Just like Roddick did it at Queens.

YESS!!! Game set match Karlovic.

He really really deserved this win and played a great match really. Tsonga was a bit disappointing but Ivo was just serving bombs. He lost ONE point on serve in the last 7 servicegames+tiebreak. His volleys were better than ever. I just love the fact that he's showing real tactical awareness, knows his limitations so well, and plays with his strengths. His forehand is pretty reliable and when he got chances he just ran around that backhand and Boomed a returnwinner to get a minibreak or breakpoints.

He really was the better player out there today. lost less points on serve, got the breakpoints, and deserved to go through.

Didn't get the celebration, but I loved it:). Think he's promised by his coach to be spanking some chick tonight if he reaches second week

I hated Tsonga’s body language in this match. Karlovic took his chances in the last game of the third set. Tsonga had no first serve in the 4th set tiebreak. Karlovic deserves this.

Tsonga had 1 first serve in that tiebreak to level at 3 all:)

Indeed, Tsonga's body language was pathetic and he's got a LOooong way to go. He KNEW it was gonna be like this, he knew he would have a tough time out there and he knew that he would have to be patient and ready for a fivesetter. He clearly wasn't ready to go for it. If Ivo wins more than 2 out of 3 on his second serve Ivo's done a great job, but being a top 10 player you know you just didn't do enough.

It has to suck to play Karlovic when he's serving well. The guy is just a machine. The opponent has to get frustrated, telling themselves that they have the better overall game, but to no avail, they get beat.

I guess you have to expect tiebreaks and hope for the best in the breaker.

All due credit to Karlovic. Serving that well for that long, even if you are a natural server, isn't easy. Who's up next for Ivo?
