I just saw on ESPN that select Imax theaters will be broadcasting both the women's and men's finals.

Anyone have any info/links on which theaters in the USA will be showing these live on the final weekend?

What kind of Equipement is needed to watch this in 3D ?? Special glasses ? TV ? and Will Federer look like he will come out of the TV and hit his serve in your livingroom ?

Oh wow, I just found out my local cinema is showing the semi final in 3D as well, I wonder if it will be both of them?

[EDIT]

Just read the site properly, they've given a running time of 600 minutes starting at 12pm. I think that will just about cover both semi's

Is it the first time in major one can watch in 3d?

USO Final was also broadcast in 3D.

I saw the commercial for this at the movies, thing is, I actually read it won't be a very good experience. I'm not a tech person, but some people wrote reviews and said that it won't be optimal, and also it's not clear if Sony will be using the legit 3D cams or like a composite image from regular cams. Again, I don't know if I'm putting it correctly.

Eh not driving all the way from Middle of nowhere Kansas to Kansas City, Missouri. I can't stand Missouri.

I went with a friend, and it was great. BBC did the commentary, and it was startling whenever the ball kids lifted their hands up into the screen to toss the server the balls! Don't know if I want to watch it this way regularly, but it was worth it this time.
