With slam #7 would you rank Djokovic ahead of McEnroe?

If his 7th is RG, then yeah, he'd be ahead of McEnroe for me. If it's another AO, no. Actually any slams besides RG he needs at least 2 more to surpass Mac.

Fact. Mac did more for the sport then Djokovic will ever do.

Djokovic would not rank ahead of Mac with a 7th slam, unless that 7th slam was at the FO, and preferably beating Rafa there.

I think Djokovic needs to win 8 slams and finish this year #1 possibly with the WTF's to be above Mac considering;

- Mac's more time at #1
- Mac's indoor majors
- Mac's vastly higher number of titles.

No, and I've yet to see anyone with an argument in the positive, while there is many in the negative. JMac only having 3 slam opportunities a year to compete for being the biggest one. That's not to say Novak will only win 7 though, he could likely end up in the double digits.

You should reissue this thread with a poll, I think it will be pretty definitive in finishing this "debate".
