I have a hard time thinking of a more impressive record in any sport. What athlete or team has been more dominant at a single event / venue than Rafa at Roland Garros? It is simply amazing and whether he wins Sunday or not, his record will never even be approached.

Yep. He shouldn't play these matches because no slam is worth anything without playing a good draw. And he should ask for more time to make things fair for his opponent so that he can be fresh.

Being stuck on 12 somehow sounds better than being stuck on 13. But reaching 100th win in a final and staying unbeaten in so many finals is really something special. Rafa will have his chances to win 14+, so he should not be superstitious. And #20 of course. Chance for #21 on the next RG that is coming soon.
But beating Rafa in the RG final and getting DCGS is also not bad at all. Would be no shame in loosing to Novak.

Beating Djokovic and Federer 6 times each qualifies for very tough draws. This being exhausted Blabla is also blown way out of proportion. The match yesterday lasted barely 4 hours and Djokovic has a full rest day. He will be fine tomorrow. If it happens that Nadal beats him then it has nothing to do with his semifinal.

I can see a grand slam or two in the future but I can't see 13 RG's or for that matter I can't see 13 titles at any one tournament. That's so impressive and means that you're bringing your top game for 13 seasons at least ( if you win 13 / 13 ) which is unheard of.

The guy didn't face a top 70 player until semifinals, that is a tough draw for you just because he is playing Djokovic in the final ?
It is clear that Djokovic has the tougher route to finals, he could win or lose but these things matter, have always mattered. Same thing last year, Djokovic and Thiem had a grueling match in 2 days due to terrible weather, the winner of the match had no chance in the final. Imagine if Thiem were in the other half of the draw last year, denying that would have had zero effect on the outcome of the tournament is delusional. Nadal has always been way more lucky compared to Djokovic and Federer whether it is the draw/scheduling/weather etc, that is why both his RG and overall slam count is very inflated.

You sound like a miserable basement dweller crying about luck and draws. You know they put 3 of the last 4 guys that have beat him on clay in his half? Shwartzy, Thiem, Fogs. The only one i can remember that wasn't was Tsitsi. So best believe it, they have tried to stop him at the French all the time.

Even his two losses one of them was when he was barely 20 and the other was a controversial decision in his very last match way past his prime. This dwarfs even Nadals 100-2 at the French.
