Yonex RDS 001 and changing the horrendous color

is it possible to change the Paintjob of the yonex RDS 001 into something less yellow? possibly a custom home job? If so how do you do it? And would this change the weight and balance.

Are you really playing well with the RDS001 already?

If so, think of it as a so-so looking lady who's willing to serve you with whatever you need, whenever you want. Such "faithful" lady is hard to come by so it's best to live with her and appreciate her other fine qualities than just her looks.

Yeah, just spray it with black. It goes with anything or get an RDX 500 instead.

i don't have it but it is getting some great reviews so i was considering but i want to know how to change to color without chaging the balance, weight.

i doubt it....spray paint wont have a huge diff. in the specs....

but deal wiht the color
it's the perfermance the racquet has.. not the color you know

When I saw the pics here I thought I wouldn't care for the color, but in person it isn't so bad. I'm getting accustomed to it, though I prefer red racquets.

Regardless of the color, the Yonex RDS001 mid is an awesome racquet. I'd say it's the racquet of the year.

Put cool stickers all over it. Then when you sell it, you can take 'em off. Voila!

I don't recommend stickers as they would be heavy and get full of sand and everything

I'm not joking: this past week I was hitting with my RDS and this chick walks up and tells me that my racquet was really cool. Now we are dating!!! Yep I owe it all to the Yonex RDS 001 MidPlus!!!

Yellow really gives it the trademark look. Know one really knew I had a RDX 500 but people can recognize the RDS 001 no problem.

People can be very superficial, it seems. Is it easier to paint a racquet and worry about how that affects its performance than just try to get past one's superficiallity? I started using the BB 10 recently with its "granny stick" cosmetics and, remarkably, not one person has come up to me thus far to make a gratuitous insulting remark. I'm coping.

I changed the color on mine, I just ook off all the yellow and sanded down to the carbon weave. It looks great.

To compensate for the weight change I added lead and it all good.

Since then I switched to 200g. If someone wants this rds001 let me know.

I think this is one of the best cosmetic designs that Yonex produced lately !!!
