Where is that? Zappa was born in Baltimore but moved quite a lot when his father got new assignments as a chemical engineer for the Department of Defense. They moved away from Baltimore due to concerns for young Frank's health...asthma related problems some believe were made worse by their proximity to the Edgewood Arsenal mustard gas projects. In California, they lived in Monterrey, Claremont, El Cajon, San Diego and finally he graduated high school in the Mojave Valley city of Lancaster.

Not bad. Dweezil has talent but not like Frankie. Frankie had that nice Balkan mix in his music quite often which was cool.

I understand they moved around a lot but I guess Mayland can lay claim to him. Not that I hung around there too long myself, we flitted away to Lincoln - not too fond of the coastal setting
