This reminded me of the movie Passengers - a supposed sci-fi thriller but it was more a sci-fi love story. I was very disappointed because I was aiming a sci-fi classic or at least a true thriller, but still, the first half the movie is very good but then it takes a sharp Hollywood turn and goes all downhill from there. In other words, I didn't like the 2nd half the of the movie or the ending.

All the latest sci-fi films have been very disappointing, to say the least (Annihilation, Arrival, Passenger etc.).

To be fair, I’d wade through any amount of muck for the gem “Miss Sarajevo” that came out of the movie Passengers.

For anyone clued into the Balkan crisis, or just anyone at all that has ever felt the effects of politics and religion disrupt their lives, it’s one of the greatest songs ever written.

Yes - I'd think Amitabh would be fairly big in Asia. We don't hear much about Kuwait these days, do we? Even though it's well known or so I think. How old were you when you relocated to Canada? That is if you don't mind sharing.

I think both Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee is/was famous worldwide.

I listen to a lot of the songs from the 60s and 70s too as I'd like to explore a great deal. The INXS song was from 2006 I think. Or 2005. I made a lot of CDs back then that are still with me. I sometimes go back and listen to those and it's funny to see what I liked back then.

Here's a song that I found in one of David Lynch's movies called Blue Velvet. Later I did a research on the 50s, 60s and 70s and found more gems.

I’m an open book, I can’t think of very many things in my life that are private. In past my generally open disposition has caused my partners or parents a bit of embarrassment as I blathered on about something they might have felt was very personal.

Especially when younger. My parents would dread taking me around to the relatives because they never knew what I might blurt out. Mum says when I was about 6 I told her brother his gift of a train set was poorly thought, because I couldn’t take it with me to boarding school and because I had a couple of days left to enjoy it.

As an adult I have learned to be a bit more tactful about other people’s privacy. But I remain an open book.

I was about 9 when the family relocated to Canada. You’re right about Kuwait, the country has been stagnant for several decades locked in a sort of constitutional crisis where no real decisions are made while their world around them has seen explosive growth. The leadership in Kuwait swaps between two royal families as an Emir passes away, but of course that’s going to have problems. The GCC - UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi, Oman and formerly Qatar - were all fine for the first 1 or 2 generations after their respective independence but after that the cracks appear. And they will appear because decadence and debauchery will only get you so far when you’re in the business of building countries out of the desert.

I’m two decades behind on Western music as well. I’d always assumed INXS to be a late 80’s/90’s band. Had no idea they were still going into the 2000’s.

You should see some of his recent movies. They are all good movies except the most recent one. Big B is like Federer in longevity and Anderson in the way that he is getting better and better with age.

It’s my genuine belief for this to take place you need to try and learn it. Really really try. Once you do and can relate to playing and learning it, watching skilled tennis becomes a pleasure. In fact often watching skilled rec level tennis is just as enjoyable as the professionals. I can go to a club and watch kids chase after the balls, the ones that are above a certain level.

Time waits for no man. Don’t put your dreams on hold.

You can start small (30 sec, 1 min short films shot on your phone, etc) . A lot of info is available online.

Read as many of the great plays as you can. From Shakespear to the current off-broadway plays. Study humanity and people. Learn to be more compassionate. A good book on directing actors is “A Sense of Direction” by William Ball.

Read the free screenplays available of movies you like online. Then watch the movie again.

I meant to say that when it comes to movies I can enjoy the movies of lesser directors the same way I enjoy the movies of GOAT directors but with tennis although I enjoy watching it no matter who is playing but not the same way I enjoy Fedalovic.
For Example : Not many people know the director of Predestination. Not even the top 100 directors ever. But Predestination is one of my favourite movies ever.
Tennis of some lower ranked tennis player can be good but no not my favourite.

Honestly I don't like plays a lot but I will give them a try sometime.
I have done the screenplay rewatch exercise with some movies like Taxi Driver, Predestination, The Usual Suspects and a few more but the last time I did it was about a year ago.

INXS does go back to the late 70s and I'd say they were more of a band of the 80s and 90s until the lead singer died or rather committed suicide. They revived the band around 2005 I think and I watched JD Fortune (Canadian rockstar) getting hired as the lead singer, so that's why I remember more. The song I posted (Afterglow) was from the album they first released but the song is probably not as well known as the other two songs from the same album.

I think it's great that you are always a couple of decades behind!. You would always look 20 years younger!

He hung himself. Asphyxiation happened because of it. Even JD got fired from the band for using cocaine and was a heavy user. I think he’s more clean now and still with the band.

Not sure if it’s the stardom that makes them get into these things. It could be a very tough challenge to handle for some so they look for ways to cope with it.

One might say the intention was still to kill oneself (or was okay with it) and one last 'good time' while going away forever. In the end, it doesn't really matter. A lot of the celebrities commit suicide anyway.

Big enough :p House prices in London are INSANE, it's a two-bedroom semi, with two bathrooms, got a fairly big garden etc...nothing crazy but we're on the housing ladder now. Nuts really, hasn't really set in yet!

My mate is too busy with life so we've only had about 2 hours with Red Dead. Another victim of timing. :p

I'd recommend Yakuza. I'm playing the prequel Yakuza0. Avoid if you're not into cut scenes. Feels like there are more cut scenes than game play. Plenty of side quests for you to enjoy. I like it.
