I just loaded up on the UNIQLO stuff in Tokyo for $25 per top/shorts.

Well yes and no. You cannot exclusivley buy lacoste (or Fred Perry for that matter), or else you will have to go without food for a days (or eat rice and beans for weeks).
But they ARE quality wear, that is for sure. You get what you pay for, generally, and Lacoste are quality wear. They will last, and are never really out of style.

However, I've had the uniqlo outfits since 2013, in Texas, washed it over and over, double rinse cycle, dryer, dragged them to China, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, India, etc. and they look great, almost like new.
I agree with both of you. Both Lacoste and Uniqlo are quality products. But with Lacoste you also pay for all-time classic and top tennis fashion brand. I like both but Lacoste is a different story, especially technical tennis clothes. Fred Perry also, but they make now very little real tennis stuff.

Love Uniqlo. Cheap and great quality. Simple and understated designs. Paid like $10 per Dry-Ex polo when they were on sale that I use for tennis. Even Nole's or Nishi's outfits are like $35 USD per piece only. I also use their Heattech stuff, cotton basic tees, casual shirts, underwear, socks, almost everything. lol

That's great news: there is hardly a more tennis brand out there than Lacoste (Fred Perry is very close.)

I've had some of my RL12 classic cotton Lacoste's for 10+ years. Also not a big fan of the Lacoste technical stuff - also $$$$

It's more than 70, it's a shame, I really like their stuff but I will only buy if it's at a steep discount at outlets.

I thought Djokovic and Uniqlo were a good fit, but I think Lacoste would fit him well enough; presumably he'll stay with adidas shoes.
