Most Nadal fans accept that as a fact. Federer fans are usually the ones who try to diminish Nadal's achievements and try to prove at all cost that Federer is better. Yesterday's thread about 11 Wimbledon finals being better than 10 RG titles just proved once more that some of Federer's fans (not all, but some) are the worst fans ever.

I've been a Nadal fan for 11 years, and for not a day of that was Nadal ahead of Federer in accomplishments, but for EVERY day of that, Federer fans have been insecure. Federer is in the final tomorrow and Nadal is out of the tournament, and Nadal is still on you guys' brain. During the FO final Nadal fans felt no need to bring Federer up..... #OhTheIrony

Things in tennis can change very fast. Imagine Cilic beating Federer tomorrow and Nadal winning the USO beating Federer in the final and finishing the year at #1. Nadal would all of a sudden only be two slams behind and still five years younger. The debate would become hotter and more intense than ever. Stop being arrogant.

I think we should let Federer play his career out before we hassle him with GOAT debates.
Let's enjoy this incredible player while he is still on court and worry about the GOAT debates when the dust finally settles.
Who knows? Federer might end up with something like 21, 22 majors. It sounds ridiculous but might be possible. It's not fair to weigh up his stats while he is still going.
The same goes for Nadal, who has reinvigorated his career this year and leads the ATP race to London despite being over 30. He also looks like he will still win a lot more.

If you think Nadal's achievements on hardcourt and grass are bad then you can't say Federer dominates on every surface. Federer's results on clay are worse than Nadal's outside of clay.

If that happened Nadal's resume would still be too clay heavy and along with never winning a single WTF he just isn't a GOAT candidate. Also never defending a title off clay is pretty laughable.

Yea but only thing that make it so difficult is that Federer is such a Pigeon of RAFA on Clay. When on best day on red clay for RAFA vs Federer,, it is such a total beatdown.....like 6-1 6-2 6-1. so that is why it is so difficult to say that.

But just like it happened to Steffi Graf or Pete Sampras, someone will come along and pass Federer's total slams. But Nadal's 10 RG (and possibly even more) is something that will never be broken and really stands out. Sometimes history unfolds in an unpredictable way. Sampras saw most of his records fall because they were not as spectacular and special as La Decima. Only time will tell. Maybe Federer's 18 or 19 slams will be broken soon enough, but people will forever try to equal Nadal's 10 or 11 titles at a slam.

I already said that WTF has nothing to do with the slams. If you bring WTF then let's also talk about Olympics, Masters 1000, Davis Cup, etc.
Roger's 1 RG title is the weakest link in both of their careers when it comes to slams cause he didn't even beat Nadal to do it (and never did in 5 tries), while Nadal's 1 AO he beat Federer in the final. Nadal beat the best for his 1 AO, Federer did not for his 1 RG.
Stop disrespecting Nadal just to make Federer look good cause that's the only reason why I even bother to criticize Federer.

At the time he was. Federer with 5 AO and 5 USO is the hardcourt GOAT, followed closely by Djokovic. Nadal beat Federer and Djokovic in the finals of his 3 hardcourt slam titles.

But you are certainly one to talk since you are doing your best to provoke fanbases here since you joined, along with the new chap who created that other thread, hopefully deleted by now.
We seem to have had a plethora of new joinees in the last month or so, who are creating provocative or silly threads with a frenzy, and going around poasting like they've been here for years.
It's only a matter of time these earlier banned poasters will be banned again.
