I literally carry pocket hand sanitizer. Being clean is severely underrated.

Many do (I certainly do) but it is also true that many don't unfortunately. Wonder who the unhygienic player was and shouldn't the poor ballkids be warned when they are next expected to take a towel off him?

People wrap their children in cotton wool and they don’t encounter different bacteria to develop their antibodies.
Best thing my dad did for me as a toddler was dump me in the garden bed to play with all the snails and bugs. No allergies.

You mean after they handle tennis balls which have been on the ground which is littered with pollution including bird droppings? And then in players' pockets as well?
The towels really are the least of the ballkids' problems when it comes to general hygiene unless a player has a readily communicable virus.

As for pocket hand sanitiser, I can't live without them as well. But I make them myself, which is super simple. Those mass produced ones are pretty toxic and leave a lot of residue.
Just mix all the ingredients (which are flexible) together. Done.

Damn. That's a valid theory, the tape thing. But I hope you're wrong. Maybe he changes the finger tapes during those toilet breaks or something (I'm his fan but not a fan of them) since it's very simple and should take no time.
Bolded: All the public restrooms I often visit have automatic faucets but for the ones that don't, I simply wash the faucet along with my hands. Better for me, better for others as well. No need to get "panic"/stressed out over little, everyday life stuff like that.

Err, not very hygienic for your shirts though. All doors should be the push/sensor type imo.

At work I have to use it many times a day. And then to have any smell from it gets sickening. There are some very good options in the pharmacy that are smell free and also dont dry out the hands.

Oh man this is so common especially in the west and I really don't know why .. I lived in the US for 13 months where I was working as a medical researcher at one of the most renowned cancer research centers in the whole world, and I was literally shocked by the number of guys that would just go straight out of the bathroom without washing their hands. Ugh just the memory of it makes me cringe so bad. And to think that those are all in the medical field makes you even more confused!

Trust me, those DIY ones are better: more effective because they keep your skin more balanced =>more protection, much more pleasant in terms of afterfeel + smell and most importantly, at least to me, are safer for your health and the environment. They're cheap and super quick to make as well.
Thorough cleanness/disinfection is overrated and can actually be harmful in normal circumstances. What we need is a right balance of those germs inside, on and outside our body and our adaptability to everything.

I was born in a doctor family, played around a lot in the hospitals in my childhood and have heard and seen a lot of those things that you wouldn't associate with hospitals/doctors/nurses. Even my parents don't always follow the "rules" and they're actually far less "careful" than me in general.
But I think that much exposure in childhood was one of the reasons for my relatively good immune system and no allergies whatsoever, so far.
Don't be afraid of hospitals. Just frequently and properly wash your hands.

Just to be clear, using the urinal means touching one's own member, not the urinal right?
As a male, I don't always wash my hands with soap after peeing, just as I don't wash my hands after touching some other part of my body; why should I? I shower and keep my body clean. Unless I get pee on my hands, why does it need washing with soap?* I just wash under running water and wipe with a paper towel or dry towel or on rare occasions not even that.
There are way more germs on keyboards, door knobs, currency notes, keys and other common surfaces than on my washed ...
*Now there is a caveat to it this - depends on what I'm about to do.
If I'm about to eat, handle food, or just in general have come in contact with a lot of public surfaces, especially during winter months, I wash with soap regardless of whether I've used the urinal or not. Also carry wet wipes or hand sanitizer in the car.
