Is there any top 100 Pros that have contract with Diadem strings and use Diadem string exclusively ? I haven't seen any Diadem stencils on any of the ATP tour pro's rackets.

Why does that matter?

One of the worlds most popular tennis strings is not used or endorsed by any of the ATP or WTA Top 100 players. I'm sure you can work out which one it is. And if you can't then it makes no difference anyway.

We currently have no one inside the top 100 stenciling. We did have a doubles player Fabrico Neis who was inside the top 100 who stencils but suffered and early season injury and has dropped to 144, he just made the finals of a challenger in his second tournament back 2 weeks ago. We do have multiple players who have won futures and challengers this year. I can guarantee that you will see much more Diadem on the tour in 2019. Elevate and Nova it's your time!

What can you tell us about the new bags? Anything noteworthy about them?

Other than it's built in Yeti cooler system that will keep a 6 pack....of gatorade ice cold for days!

I would say that the coolest feature on the 12 pack bag is it's linked double zipper middle compartment that gives you easy access to everything in that compartment. As always we tried to go bold with the color!

We will be Version 2.0 will definitely look to be more revolutionary.

MOST IMPORTANT thing about any tennis bag is the QUALITY OF its ZIPPERS!

Make the zippers bulletproof and you will corner the market in tennis bags very quickly. Otherwise integrate the zippers in such a way that if they do fail then they are very easy to replace.

What features would you like to see in a bag?

1. Commercial quality, oversized zippers
2. Quality sliders on the bottom to minimize scuffs
3. Would be fun to have custom monogram
4. Insulated compartments
5. Some kind of organization system to keep my bag from looking like a woman's purse. I have so much stuff just floating around. Water, balls, grips, bars, tape, hat, wrist bands, dampeners, wallet phone keys, etc.

Dedicated compartments. We all bring pretty much similar things to the tennis court: rackets, balls, cell phone, wallet, keys, wristbands, braces, tape, bandaids, water bottles, towel. But i end up with two racket compartments and a couple flat zipper compartments and two big central compartments to throw everything else into and it looks like a mess.

Give me a compartment for balls, one for my wallet/cellphone/keys, one for medical equipment, one for wristbands/headbands/braces, one for my towel/shirt/warmup gear and one for my water bottle. You can tell i like organization lol.

And good zippers. Like everyone else says.

Why you have a drawing of a Wilson nCode, on your website, to illustrate your Impact Shield tech?

We will be reaching out to TW Europe and let you know once we hear back from them. In the meantime Stringers World carries them.

Hi Diadem, will you guys have any future playtests through the TW forums? Perhaps your new racquet line or even some new super secret string?

As of now TW will not be carrying the racket line. They passed all of the play testing with flying colors, but without current tour support they don't see a need to bring it in just yet.

We will have players soon enough.

Follow us on instagram next week for behind the scenes looks at Los Cabos ATP event. One of our players Fabrico Neis ( uses Solstice Power 16L) will be unleashing the bag and testing some sticks.

The Angell thread is the largest and they have no sponsored tour players

I agree with the quality of zippers. Mine is broken and that was yonex!

+1 Mine was the Wilson Bag with RF signature from 2015 or something... all the plastic parts that attach to the metal component (and are used to pull the zipper open and shut) simply break in half at some point (and the bag is not even exposed to the elements (I use it to store racquets that are not in the current line-up - resting from previous use).

Creating shaped multis and guts can be quite difficult for the string to maintain its shape. We actually looked at this when developing Evolution.
I’m very interested in trying your evolution string but before I do I’m just curious if you can tell me about how powerful/stiff it is? Like how would it compare to a typical synthetic gut?

There is no info on TWU regarding Evolution so any info appreciated.

Dang they wont sell your rackets but took a chance on the terrible OneSpin rackets (which CERTAINLY had zero tour support). That's cold TW

In April we launched the Elevate Tour which has been a massive success for us. The extra 10 grams, increase stiffness, and balance change has made this racket a great player stick that packs that extra punch and stability everyone is looking for, right off the shelf.

We also brought out the Nova + , 1/2 inch longer and 5 grams heavier. Currently being used by a former all american at Texas A&M, Junior Ore. He's currently 280 in doubles and won 6 $25k ITF events with it so far this year. He uses our Flash string as well.

We have a number of other future level guys that are winning and going deep into 15 / 25ks and are climbing the ranks. One of our juniors just got a 3rd at kalamazoo and is headed to Univ of South Carolina to play this fall, he uses Elevate and Solstice Power.

We are making progress and seeing significant growth organically. We will make a big push to establish more players between 100-400 this off season.

As if TW be carrying them anytime soon, only they can answer that question. We have a pretty good demo program going on right now, check it out!

Thanks for responding! The Nova + looks really interesting to me. I wish it were a 97/98 but the 100 may be just fine. I just need to hit with it and see.

Can’t say much good about diadem’s customer service. A friend/hitting partner of mine has applied for a diadem sponsorship twice with no reply at all, I mean if he doesn’t qualify it would simply be easy to tell him. As far as products concerned I enjoyed elite XT

We respond to every inquiry within 24 hours. He may have used an invalid email, we see that often when responding.

Glad you enjoy Elite XT!

Any plans to release a tournagrip/dry overgrip that absorbs sweat well and doesn't slip? I've tried both of your overgrips, and they don't hold up well to sweaty hands and heat. Also, your Pro Touch can't seem to stay in place over my leather grip. It always slips out of place and I have to rewrap.

Not at the moment.

What grip do you normally play with? Tourna grip ?

With Solstice Pro discontinued, what in the line up plays similar? Solstice Power was a bit too lively
Elite XT is going to play firmer / more control oriented.
Flash isn't as lively as Solstice Power, but doesn't utilize the star shape.

Elite will be your best bet coming from Solstice Pro. I do believe there are a few sets and reels left of Solstice Pro on our website, it's marked 15L 1.35 but is really a 1.30.

I wasn't able to see any options for Sol Pro. Also, my account along with my head coaches account can't log on. It says no account exists. Was there a wipe? We had ordered enough inventory to hold us over and now running close to depleting it.

Hi Diadem,

Was wondering if your RA specs are strung or unstrung RA; as strung RA tends to be lower than unstrung. (Angell uses unstrung RA and TW uses strung RA).

I have a history of tennis elbow so I play with my current VCP HD (59RA but "feels like ~64 RA") + multifilament string. Was wondering if I should buy the Diadem Elevate 98 or Tour.

Just a little worried about the 67 RA rating on the Tour, but the Tour is more in line with my spec range than the regular.

Is there any way of trying the Diadem frames in Australia? PM me if there is.

Diadem has a Distributor in Australia in Perth. Use Google to find the Contact Details.

Elevate Tour RA67 is UNSTRUNG RA! (Will be closer to RA64 when strung with Multi!)

Thanks for the clarification Karma. My arm will love 64 RA.

Shame I can't find an Australian demo programme, but those are really tempting specs.

I think I'll just buy an Elevate Tour and report back later.
