The newest line of Nike shoes... the Baby Court Air Zoom Zero shoes... or the cheaper version, at least.

Here is Tennis Warehouses video on it. It looks interesting. I'm wondering how the stability of the shoe is compared to the Zoom Zero as the Zoom Air is supposed to be more stable (laterally) than Max Air. Hope the upper is softer as the big knock on the Zoom Zero is that the upper is a bit stiff & has problems with breathability.

rubbish i say
Thank you for your input.

The 15.4 oz weight is a little startling for a shoe with so little... upper material. But I like the price point and I will certainly try one on in a shop to hopefully get on sale down the line ;)

I just cannot pay full retail for anything anymore... its gotten a bit out of hand from these companies and their flagship shoes

I just got them (clay version) and i can tell you that they are definitely run a little bit short and tight in the forefoot area. I would suggest going up a full size ( i usually wear 43 and i got the 44 and they fit me fine). On court they feel comfortable and the cushioning is there without beeing too soft underfoot. Traction is quite good (i play in astro turf). Time will tell about the durability on those but they feel rather well made. All in all i would say they are very good value for money shoes.

Just tried out in the house, I usually wear a narrower shoe, but these are too narrow in the toe box in my regular size. My metatarsal of my pinky overhangs the outsole . Really cushy feel under forefoot. If it were a little wider and had the support drag feature from the medial side also along the lateral side , I would keep. These have the best insole of any shoe I've ever seen.

Also got zoom zeros, these feel much more open in fore foot area. Feel great on heel to toe walking or just standing flat. Really wish these had a lateral side support in the front third of shoe.

Also got the zoom resistance. These don't have the cushioning or outta the box feel of the above, but do have an upper with 360 degrees of support. The heel seems soft on the back outside corner but going to keep these.

My ideal shoe,.... Nike...., put the Resistance upper (or preferably ballistic 4.3) onto the Zero chassis with the Wildcard insole.

why do people say "price point" instead of just saying "price"?? is it so they will sound more sophisticated?

It's because businesses don't try to build the best product, they make cheaper mods/parts in certain areas to lower the price and still make the profit margin they want. So n(yes)o

Bingo. Every brand has a club-performance shoe that sits around 90-100 dollars. They design them to fit that price and not to eat into their flagship shoes.

Usually lacks premium uppers and durability guaranties

With the shoe in hand, it's easy to see where the weight comes from. The upper is pretty hefty. It's a thick canvas and that canvas is also internally lined with padding. Would have been nice to see some mesh panelling used strategically. The rubber coating to protect from toe drag is thick (too thick imo) and a good part of the medial side of the shoe is also coated in the same material.

Despite the weight, the shoe doesn't feel too sluggish thanks to the great heel to toe transition. The cushion is also very bouncy with great energy return.

I actually love the shoe. After the upper is broken in it is extremely comfortable and supportive, even for me. The only gripe I have is outsole durability. I get what would be about a month’s worth of wear on a cage under the toes in a week on these. Possibly the least durable shoe I’ve ever worn. But cushion, support, traction, all great.

I think it's a great shoe, especially for the price. The insole is incredible. Thick cushioning for the forefoot is really important, and this shoe has more cushioning here than any other. I just wish it had a breathable upper.

I've had a pair for a few months now and can confirm the following:

Toe box does feel narrow, upon pulling out the insole there is a tab that lines the show by the pinky toe - I saw on another thread that this can just be cut out and the shoe can feel roomier. I have not done this yet.
It is a well cushioned shoe
Durability is not as good as the Zoom Zero's (which have "ok" durability)
Upper is not super breathable but did not dramatically bother me during play (singles and doubles)
They are a bootie design as tongue is attached
They look like a Zoom Zero but with the cool classic Nike exposed air.

Overall they are a well priced and potentially comfortable shoe if you break in or modify depending on your width, I recommend those with wide feet D/E try on but don't expect a good fit. I'm a B width (14M) and toe area felt tight.
Would I buy again? I got mine for a great sale price and overall they have been great rec/practice shoes so yes I would look to buy them again.

Thanks

I have a semi wide foot/normal, idk. It felt very narrow at first, but that may also be because I was wearing thorlos. After a week it felt much roomier.
