If you are a Hindu not inside India, should you be considered a beef eater by default?

That's an easy question to answer ... if you eat beef, you're not a Hindu whether inside or outside India just as you cannot be a peace-loving murderer.

Dedans ... I don't understand

but I hope that's a compliment because I see a thumbs up :)

College going Indian males can be the biggest p*ricks. These guys can't so much as conjure up enough courage to talk a pretty girl so they have to resort to eve-teasing and making snide remarks. I wonder if the rape culture is related to this inability. Its always been a mystery to me ... how can the country that gave the world classics such as Bhagavad Gita also produce such low class cretins?
Of course it is. We're good amigo.

Eliminating the like button is a mistake in my opinion. Now I have no way of letting someone know that I read his reply to me unless I post another reply of my own. I appreciate the work done by the folks that run this place but some decisions are not the brightest.

Ali Baba, British India has become so fragmented.

Pakistan, Bangladesh, now Sikhs want their own state, Kashmir... It is all actually part of India.
We must go back to the 1947 British borders!

Otha, tell me about it. This is what happens when there is diversity to the extent there is in India. Neighboring states can be like 2 different countries ... completely different languages, food and tradition. I'm proud of the diversity though.

Yes it seems Gandhar is modern day Kandahar in Afghanistan, and the place had a majority of Hindus in those days, and hundreds of Shiva temples.

The name “Afghanistan” comes from “Upa-Gana-stan” which means in Sanskrit “the place inhabited by allied tribes”.
Oppa Gangnam Style?
Sorry, stupid remark but I could not resist.

wow just wow !!!
I would have never guessed that !

However, after posting, I did realize that Gandhar was probably related to Kandahar.

Afghanistan also was largely Buddhist for around 900 years I once read. Quite astonishing.

Bravo, Herr Sentinel, you know your history well! @sureshs ... there's your answer.
Actually, a week back I was reading about Balochistan and seeing the maps. I saw Gandhar there.

So when you made your remark, the two got connected somehow.

The answer is that she was a Hindu from a Hindu majority area which happened to be in present-day Afghanistan, which directly contradicts your claims. Like Ravana was a devout Hindu bhakta of Shiva and happened to be in present-day Sri Lanka.

If you are a Hindu not inside India, should you be considered a beef eater by default?
Aah, you just did some research and got back.

Do you nkow what period it was when there were Hindus in that area. From what I remember, Hinduism got slowly replaced by Buddhism and the latter was around for almost a thousand years. So this dates the period of the MB to what period ?

I have zero persons on my ignore list, and you don’t qualify to be an exception.

Why in the US? This is the most Indian thread I know.
I dare say that almost all my limited knowledge of Indian culture is originated in this thread,

By the way, devaluated performance of the Fedr against the ruble, so sad.
The end of the world is coming soon to your theatre.
Rogi should enroll in STC Academy, and start to run drop volleys drills with JD, or with Jeejo.
Lolita... well, no.

Fedr must have read the thread started by sharossh about Nick, and that rattled him enough to make him lose.
I have the match on DVR but not yet picked up the bowels to watch it.

Gandhari herself was a devout Shiva devotee.

Ravana was a brahmin by birth (so definitely not a beef eater) and a master of the 64 arts (like you) and again a devout Shiva devotee and one who had the profound knowledge of the Vedas. His eye on Vedavati is a symbolic representation of the destruction of his own knowledge of the Vedas because he went down the path of Adharma.

Video or it didn't happen !!!
Elusive stuff - not finding it. It's like the sightings of the Yeti or the UFO.

I will report u to the Modi if you don't accept dandipani into your true natural bosoms.
natural or national.

Are the Modi like the Illuminati ? Shouldn't it be Moderati ?
And it is DANDA not DANDI.

Dandi reminds me of the salt march of Gandhiji.

Does Mr Dandapani ji also teach us how to control Sureshez mind ?

If I could control Mr Sureshez mind, i would first of all get him to start pressing the Like button. Oh waaaaaiiiiiit :(

Then make him dance in office when his boss is present.

Last but naught lest, make him attend Jeejo's 3.0 topless clinique and get bumped to 5.0 before the Winter Nationals.

WHAT would you folks do if you could control Mr Sureshez mined ?

I have seen these guy's videos. I have also been to the temple in Kauai that is referenced below.

About Dandapani

Dandapani is a Hindu priest, speaker on self development and an entrepreneur. Of Sri Lankan ancestry, he grew up in Australia and after graduating university with a degree in Electrical Engineering he left it all behind to become a Hindu monk under the guidance of one of Hinduism’s foremost spiritual leaders of our time, Sivaya Subramuniyaswami. For 10 years he lived a life of serious personal discipline and training at his guru’s cloistered monastery in Hawaii.
When his vows expired seven years ago he chose to venture out into the world on his own. He made New York City his new home, determined to live and practice himself everything he teaches in the most invigorating and challenging city in the world. He works with a variety of individuals, companies and organizations around the world conducting training through workshops, retreats and exclusive coaching circles.
Approachable, practical and funny, he has a unique ability to simplify the understanding of the mind, make spiritual tools practically applicable in every day life, create systematic approaches to self development that allows for sustainable change and relate what he teaches to every day life. All this and more make him a much sought after speaker and coach on self development.

I am a Dandapani follower, same as JD. I am trying to concentrate only in this thread, all my life revolves around it.

Distasteful and disgust to infer Sasoosh’s penile projectile is infertile is both vile and abhorrent.

Reported?

Yep.

When?

Right after my morning shift at the thrift store ends.
You have a very fertile imagination. Almost as fertile as Saduresh's bossoms. But you always use it for salacious porpoises. Sadness.

It is interesting how these religious preacher types make it a point to highlight their science or engineering background if they have one. There is one from India, Muktananda, who is always advertised as an engineering and MBA graduate.

In the original concept of Sannyasa or renunciation to become a monk, the person was " born again" with a new name and would never refer to his life before the initiation, and followers were also instructed not to ask, the analogy being that if you are thirsty and come across a river with pure water, would you first ask where the river had its tiny origins in the mountains?

But now any science background is paraded to show that person has "understood" science and is not a loser who turned to religion with no other choice.

It is apparent that you eschew the Sureshian Spray(TM) and do not wish to participate in the 3.5 Men’s Topless Tourney at the STC this Sunday after dinner.

Sad for all Indian scented 4.0 champion Internet Tennis players.

Has The Sureshs ever brought up automating AYCE establishments? Imagine if he could just sit in a track guided chair that led him down the line allowing him to blink once for a ladle of pudding or whatever he desires. It would certainly save expended calories from having to scoop it yourself allowing the foodstuffs to contribute to the mass-building project.
