Me too!. I have this itchy twitch to like everything that seems original, entertaining or very humorous. For me this whole place is way less fun this way.
I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to like something over the past few days. It's so damn frustrating.
It's tougher to touch base with everyone now. Sometimes a like can be a way of saying hello too. Folks don't always have the time to converse. why was the Like button taken away ? will 5G make the like button more useful and likable or will it make it dangerous ?

Like I said, I have no problem with the return of the like button, but its inception clearly decreased the quality of the debates on this board - even with that it remains as the only decent place to discuss tennis on the internet. Way too much trolling came with the like button, it's not just a coincidence.lol diminish how?

I heard something about that. Really childish. Effort alone to do something that pointless is mind boggling. Dislike/negative reaction is not really needed though. Age old maxim is, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” If you don’t agree, scan further; if you do agree and appreciate, hit “like.” It worked for four years.
I appreciate what you’re saying but the issues you outlined have and will remain prevalent with or without the button.
Yes forgive me I didn’t mean to imply it is non existent. Just that with or without the button there will always be threads devoid of any actual content. I feel like they should just go back to the original system without the reactions.

This is the same thing, but it takes several clicks. You can see by this poll that most of us liked the feature. You know how it goes. A small minority of unpleasant people find a way of ruining things for all the rest of us.
