Looks like Bouchard can't even get past 1R in smallest of the smallest ITF tournaments. She just lost in 3 sets to a player no one probably heard of, ranked #272.

Don’t think it would be unreasonable for her to self-rate as a 4.5 at this point

“Dear USTA,
I have not won a match since February. I rarely keep three balls in a row in the court, have little to no footwork, and have no plan B if smacking one flat backhand down the line doesn’t automatically win me the point. Also, like most USTA women, I care more about fashion / matching outfits than the quality of my tennis. 4.5 please? Love, Genie”

To be fair, Bouchard had a concussion at the 2016 U.S. Open, if she wrote a letter like this, U.S. Open management would be in a panic mode, thinking she now lost her mind too! LOL! Kind of like an extreme football head injury and motorcycle injury without helmet can cause.

Most of her set were close and some matches went 3 sets too. It just she try to hard at critical times in the set like at 4-4 and try to over power the opponent to win the critical game and gets messed up or if she is serving, does abdouble fault at 30-40; things like that.

A bunch more points just came off the board, live ranking #220

130 points to defend by Aussie Open, if she fails to defend those she’ll be lower than #350

This is spiraling

If forgot to mention that her home in the Bahamas maybe damaged or destroyed! Bouchard moved out of her Miami location to the Bahamas just this year too.

Well, the season’s over. She could play in the Houston 125K in a couple weeks, but she won’t.
Bouchard ranking is at an all time low of 220! This means only ITF tournaments and WTA qualifying rounds for 125K to 250K. No WTA International or Premier level tournaments. No GS qualifying either! Hopefully, Bouchard get some WC entries for beginning of 2020 to get her back not the 180s so she can doing WTA high level tournaments again.

I'd like to summon the poster who some time ago said she was already bigger than Steffi Graf: he must be a total hoot at his tennis club parties and I want to be entertained.

Interesting Singles draw sheet. There are 9 spots open. Only 8 spots are reserved for Qualifiers. Almost looks like as if she withdrew from Singles, but she's not in the withdrawal list.

She is listed as seeded #2 in doubles with Stollar, though.

Looks like she's really out from the Singles draw. All lines in the singles draw has now been filled and there's a new "LL" (Lucky Loser) entry there. She's still listed in the doubles draw, though.

Her ranking decline is far outstripping this thread.....how long will it take us to get this to over 200 pages?

She won a match!

Weather gets real bad down there tonight, good chance the next few days are moved indoors.
