ATG players getting shredded in a slam match.

Here are some matches where an ATG was shredded at a slam event. I am looking for matches of these greats where they lost some time after they won their first slam title.

The ones that immediately come to my mind are:

2008 FO final: Nadal beats Fed 6-1, 6-3, 6-0
2019 AO final: Djoker beats Nadal 6-3, 6-2, 6-3
1974 Wimbledon final: Connors beats Rosewall 6-1, 6-1, 6-4
2000 USO final: Safin beats Sampras 6-4, 6-4, 6-3
2001 USO final: Hewitt beats Sampras 7-6, 6-1, 6-1

What other matches feature an ATG great getting slaughtered at a slam event? My mind is drawing a blank, since I barely slept last night.
2008 RG was the greatest beatdown of all time.

Only in the eyes of a hater can taking a set be worse than getting annihilated in straight sets. Sadly for you, your Fed hatred is not going to erase reality.

Federer has beaten his idol in straights in a slam final but you wont see him mention it. In the eyes of a delusional hater , as you said, it's better to lose a set than win in straights.

He wins RG without Djokovic.
Wawrinka could have beaten him. Murray would have taken energy from him in the SF assuming he got through Djokovic in a tough match. Nadal just wasn’t good for his standards on clay in 15 even if he was still better than the average player.

Couldn't handle the crowd. He wasn't the mental monster he is today. Post 2014 Nole would clutch out that final against Muzz.

Lol.... excuses excuses. He already proved himself a mental monster back in 2011 when he tore through the season beating everybody else right, left and centre including Nadal at Wimbledon. Stop making excuses just because you don't like the fact Murray did it (don't notice you making excuses in any of the other examples given here).

Have to say it is amusing nole aint allowed an excuse but all we read on here are fedal excuses. Every single loss has multiple excuses and some of the scuses contradict the other scuses. Lmao.

I watched all of these matches. Post RG 13 Novak was a mess. Wimby 13 was no beatdown and Novak was competitive despite being a ghost of his usual self.

"The crowd. The bad, bad crowd. They were the reason my hero was decimated I tells ya!"

He can console himself all he wants. Doesn't change the fact that Murray beat him from pillar to post that match.
It was no beating, it was close, even Muzz said so after the match. Great Britain has Rafa to thank for destroying Nole mentally a few weeks earlier.

Yep, the crowd was disgusting toward Novak as usual. Watch the match, it was close and not what most people would call a beatdown. Muzz said so himself.

His career in the majors was basically on the line at wimbledon 2014. He fought like he knew it was on the line in that match.

That was no beating. Novak "couldn't handle the crowd (or the net) and wasn't the mental monster he is today".

It was a straight setter. Some of OP's and other examples were just as close (but don't notice you singling out any of them).
yea, straight setter but it doesn't mean each straight setter must be shredding (as OP established)..i can't call it getting shredded, maybe you can, it's ok, but where did you find here 6-1 or 6-2?

The logic is Novak choking the RG 13 semi is what mentally destroyed him until Wimby 14, including Wimby 13. You will agree Novak was a ghost in the Wimby final. In any case, it was far from a beatdown, even the score shows it.
