Not sure what tactics they discussed, but going into a standard baseline exchange isn't the way. I mean it wouldn't work against Djokovic, meaning he would have a game plan in place for Djokovic, strange having practised so much with Millman he wouldn't know how breaking the rhythm works in his favor.
