Berydch hoping for another record here. But I doubt he's the only one. The only one I can remember though.

I've read more than a few times over the years Berdych is a practice god - I wonder what other players are like that.

If the RG organizers had any guts, they'd make the clay blue for this years edition, and give Berdych the top seed based on the blue clay results. Since Fed is out of commission. (Berdych will un-retire for this)

No crowds + blue clay = 1st slam win.

I feel Berdych suffered from slow courts. It wasn't built for his big hitting game. He could wallop some real screamers and the defenders would punt it back.
