Just a thread to share specs and other information from owners of Wilson Blade Pro racquets. Please feel free to share info about both 18x20 and 16x19. Lets gather all your specs.

Will start by mine. I used a friends Dunlop swingweight machine, but will be taking them to RDC machine in a few days for RA measurement as well. Both of mine are 16x19 pattern. I did not get lucky this time and both are considerably far apart spec wise. I have a feeling will play quite different as well.

Racquet 1:
Weight: 301.5g
Balance: 32.5 cm
SW: 301

Racquet 2:
Weight: 306.5g
Balance: 32.0 cm
SW: 308

Will also post specs once strung up. Both getting Cyclone treatment because that is my baseline string I use to judge frames.

Tagging other Blade Pro Users who I read purchased these: @topspn, @Power Player, @Phantasm, @NealC and anyone else who got them.

Thanks for sharing. That first one looks like a keeper. Very close to my unstrung specs.

To put a positive spins on things, I personally added 2 grams of lead at 12 o clock on my 16x19s, so if you feel like you need to add lead at 12, you won't have to on the 2nd one possibly.

I think I'll be taking mine to the local tennis shop that has a PTC and drop a few bucks for some measurements if UPS miraculously delivers early.

I am also very close to getting one of these, still on the fence about the pattern. I have about 4 months until I need to decide on a new frame though so I'll continue deliberating in my head until then.

Great idea. Thanks for creating and sharing. Racquet 1 i would be extremely happy. Racuqet 2 would start pushing my specs. We could even use this possibly to match preferences..enjoy!

I will post my weight and balance tomorrow when i get mine. My stringer unfortunately has some old RDC that he has in storage and just totally refuses to consider using it. He does have a prince tuning center machine so will annoy the hell out of him for SW measure

He should sell that RDC to you...

FWIW I would keep #1 which can easily be brought up to spec and return/exchange #2.
Whats the return policy? Already took off plastic on handle and cardboard. The racquets are already being strung up as I type this so is Wilson taking back strung up racquets?

Pretty confirmed that they're H22 molds. No one has shared pictures yet! Outrageous!!!

@haqq777 care to share some pics? Also does the retail version still have the weird thing with the grommet ending like a piece was cut off
Will do once I get them back, they are at my stringers. I have been told pick up on Saturday. By the time I get them back I'm sure someone else will have them in hand and have pictures up, haha. I am not sure about grommet, didn't even look that closely. I have never owned H22 before so definitely not the most experienced there.

Somewhat regretting I didn't swallow the 2 day shipping cost after hearing people get theirs already but then again, I already have racquets to hit with so not like i'm not losing out on anything. Just grumpy I don't have my brand new toy.

Sorry @haqq777 there is a 30 day satisfaction guarantee but it only seems to apply to the Clash. Otherwise you are simply left with a 1 year limited warranty claim which typically covers defect/workmanship claims only. Would be interesting to see what Wilson says if you tell them you are a little miffed because you paid top $ for a pair that plays/feels different. Assuming that is actually the case and you actually care enough to go through all that ;).

I had 4 of the blade pro's in my cart and put on the brakes. I already have my 3 H19's and the biggest thing about pro stocks is that they are light so you can customize. I mean the layup is amazing too but they aren't magic wands. You make the magic with your mods. So the only folks buying these should be advanced players with experience in modding. Altho, the price being the same as regular retail frames does make them a better buy due to the superior layups. So, everyone should buy pro stocks and learn how to mod i say!!!!

Ugh. I'll give it a hit and them off to classifieds if I don't like. No big deal.

Yeah, I knew that lol - was just making sure.

Hold on to it long enough for others to discover their specs. I can almost guarantee you that there will be someone who wishes they had your specs and you theirs. That's another positive of creating a thread like this. Straight trades.

Exactly, 99% of people buying these are just wasting money because they aren't going to magically make them better.

FYI, for those wondering if these are in fact H22/H19, just received this reply from Wilson ...

Hello Prema,

Thank you for contacting Wilson Sporting Goods.

Yes, indeed these are from the H22 and H19 mold however, the Pro Lab rackets are limited edition models which are not sold as a retail product and these will not be available for mass purchase through our website, sorry.

If you need any more information please do not hesitate to contact us.

LOL, why would they? These are meant to customized, not played with in stock form.
In case you missed the original post and the follow up posts, the reason why I asked was it would be easier to simply get another one with similar specs to my racquet #1. I know very well how to customize but racquet #2 is a little out there. And even if I do have to get rid of it, so what? I have bought and sold a lot of racquets in the past, it is no big deal.

Interesting. The email says these are limited edition whereas a few folk here mentioned that Wilson Twitter said the opposite.

Well, someone suggested I start hoarding BP like toilet paper since i just bought a second. I will play the BP exclusively after i send it to the stringer tomorrow. I’d like to see if i will keep it as interesting hitting stick or main stick. So yes, may have to hoard more of them.

The discontinued retail UT Pro was from the same mold as the H19 but a completely different and cheaper layup. Anyone with an actual H22 of H19 compared them to one of these sticks yet? I'm thinking these aren't the same layups as actual Pro Stocks, hence the same pricing as regular retail sticks. I could be wrong tho.

Man we have to stop with the subjective stuff. There are pros using the retail Ut layup. There are people with H19s who can't tell the difference between the two frames. I get it - you paid the price for pro stocks and feel yours are higher quality. I respect that opinion, but there is no evidence that the retail layup was cheap or totally different.

But I want to feel extra special!! :(

Honestly speaking though, there is a smidgen of hindsight 20/20 buyer's remorse but I'm just considering I paid a premium for early access. and now on the bright side, I can get more for cheap.

Real interested in your thoughts since you have had the H22s for a long time. I think its great you already had the frames and now can get more that are brand new and easier to track down.

LOL. Don't put too much weight/pressure on me and my measly 4.0 play... >_<

Too bad I've had a 9-ish month layoff in the 2 year-ish period I've owned them due to other life priorities + COVID lockdown potato-mode. I've been hitting exclusively with it since my post Covid lockdown layoff for the past 5-6 weeks though, so hopefully I'll have a decent baseline to compare.

Irony has gotten the better of you here, Ultron, because the OP just happens to be that 1% advanced player who wouldn't be wasting his money and could actually make this pro stock work, going by your understandably strict standards. You looking for more gear heads to hustle with your Graphene PT113B1? Isn't it early a.m. in Paris? Better cut these shenanigans out if you plan on bringing home #18 next weekend;):-D
