Just saw a clip of the match. Fritz is in the the Vapor Pro. No one seems to know what the price is on those yet.

yes, Pro not NXT, my mistake. If the pattern holds, they should be$10-$20 under the NXT. But it is a bit crazy how these are still not out. More time to stock up on the X for me since these look not great.

Where are you finding the X? I can't find any in my size.

With all these mystery shoes coming out, what happened to the Air Zoom Prestige? It fit me better than the vapors. Lasted almost as long. Sure they were cheap, but they did the job. Hate having to switch shoes.

Fritz blew out the laces of the Vapor Pros. Didn't look like anything on the shoe specifically. Tore up his custom orthotic, too.

There wont be any new ones. It seems like they are moving to Vapor Pro and NXT. It is uncertain if the Vapor Pro will be the new "X" or "Prestige"
I'd say most likely X. I don't think any pro's wore the Prestige. It was a 2nd line shoe. But I liked it much better than the regular Vapors. Just fit my foot better.
Hope they keep the Prestige or make a close replacement. Plus it was reasonably priced.

For what you get the higher line shoes are becoming less and less of a value.

Yeah, the Prestige felt more like the old 9.5's, lower to the ground and had a lighter feel. Hopefully these new shoes will be a little better than the X's.
Do you know when they're coming? X & Prestige completely sold out everywhere... you'd think they'd be available by now.

When I saw no new Prestiges on sale at all the shoe sites, I grabbed two other pairs fearing they were becoming extinct. My guess if the Prestige sticks around, the newest model or colors will show up with the Vapor Pro and NXTs, whenever they hit retail.

I’m surprised Nike would go 15.8 ounces for a vapor shoe, perhaps from the cushioning or extra outsole. Plus it costs almost as much as a retail vapor x knit. I will wait for it to go on sale eventually but I’m not sure I will be interested in this new vapor.

Is Grigor wearing the NXT ? is willing to be the men's tour player that is willing to play with this on ?

15.8 oz >>???????????????? what kind of joke is this ? and they call this Vapor ?? Take the name Vapor out,, it is deceptive advertising. It is even heavier than Cage 4.:p No wonder most pros won't switch

15.8? For a vapor? Yikes.

Just want to chime in before the hysterics get going... ;)

From my personal experience so far with this shoe, I would urge you to see this not as "the next Vapor" but possibly a blend of the Vapor and Cage (think Court FF 2)...this is just how I am seeing it. Thinking there may be other shoes coming from Nike that will fill your "Vapor" void in the next couple months!

I also want to add, it doesn't feel as heavy on as it does on the scale. Seriously though! :p

I would like Michelle to be cross examined by my cousin Vinny.

"Are these magic shoes? Did you buy them from the same guy who sold Jack his beanstalk beans?"

Agreed. I've found that shoes that comfortably hug my foot like these do are deceptively fast feeling. The NXTs and the VC4s fall into that category for me. I had my first real outing with them this past weekend. The only real performance negative I might have is that I suffer from plantar fasciitis in both feet and the stock insoles will need to be replaced to prevent a flair up.

Hah! They might just be magic!

I can add...there is technology in the shoe that adds stiffness to the lateral side (which I can assume translates into more weight), but also allows you to feel faster when recovering and reacting. And, Flyweave isn't the 'lightest' of upper materials that I've seen, but definitely doesn't feel bulky. They feel quicker to me than the Vapor Cage 4, and I love those shoes!

So is the shapo shoe, the original Knit Vapor being discontinued totally now? Did anyone like this shoe or still play with it?

Was hoping for a fast shoe

guess I’ll wait for the Solution Speed (or the vapor pro perhaps)

whenever TW decides to ship the Solution Speeds that is!

I have been teaching a lot in the VC4, it's a little high in the heel initially but wears in nicely after about a week. My feet appreciate the additional padding on long days, and they are fine for performance if I have to play a little. The GP turbo I don't love playing in but they are great for reffing tournaments or running drill/coaching sessions. If I am going to play for serious though, I prefer the Vapors. I have the NXT on the way, I love all shoes so I am sure I will use them.

Love the SS, but I slide around in them, but might also be partly due to the Asics socks being slippery.

Digging on the Uber4 pretty hard but I haven't really given them heck yet.
