Who do you want to win the QF if Djokodal meet, and why

Always Nadal between them. Will be interesting this year if they both make it, because Nadal feels like he is in a similar form as last year and Djokovic has picked up his game pretty quickly, but will he have last year's motivation to go that hard again?

Nadal unfortunately. If Djokovic wins, us Fed fans will forever have to hear "Fed only has 20 slams, he's officially 3rd now!"

Nadal winning would not only prevent that from happening, but it would also prove total slam count is a sham in the greater context of things, considering both Fed and Djokovic are definitely better players than Nadal (on anything outside of clay, let's not kid ourselves)

Obviously, real tennis fans will not root for Djokovic at this point. He wins 90% of the slams in the last few years, mostly without any competition. Someone else should win for once.

Djokovic has almost won all 4 slams last year, and somehow nobody complained. Nadal won 1 slam after not winning any last year (not even playing the last 2 slams), and we see lots of complaining.
You are not only a mug you are also dishonest lol.

Djokovic has won 6 Slams since 2019, Nadal has won 4. Is the gap really that bad?

Interesting perspective. I just look at through a simplistic lens of which player I like more. I've liked Rafa since 2005 and never haved liked Djoker, and after the Adria tour and lying at the AO, I like him even less. But I do respect his achievements and will.

I do think that given Carlos' left handed struggles yesterday, he will be dreading facing Nadal.

So in ways if you want Carlos to win perhaps Djokovic is the man to root for, he presents less matchup issues and will be a lot easier for Alcaraz to defeat.

Hmm. All things considered, I'd probably prefer to see Novak even things up at 21 rather than Nadal stretch the lead to 22 (not that that really matters in the long term; they'll probably both finish at 23+). But I'm not sure I'd say I'm rooting for him. Really an "anyone but the Big 2" kind of situation.
