Slams display the best possible conditions, all of them are outdoor for a good reason: putfppr conditions support servebots (see the WB 2018 SF), long rallies and the ability to use high top spin to add more variety to the game. Indoor hard eliminates the high top spin option and thus reduces the variety of the game to something mechanical and servebotistic, with short rallies and short interchanges.

Different tennis surfaces are meant to test different skills. Grass doesn't support big swings, Clay doesn't support flat strokes. While they work amazingly well on medium fast HC.
