The Mid-Atlantic Chapter tennis highlight for the New Year could be a showdown between Topaz and Cindysphinx. Prediction: Many people will show up to see this event.

Before the college kids go back to school (Jan 14th), we should have one more meeting. I would like to organize but need some feedback on what days are best. My goal is to get max participation.
Also, I would like to throw out the idea of having a brief "wood racquet" exhibition. Bring your wood racquet or borrow one, and we will have one quick super tiebreak tournament.
So when is everyone available?

First, Cindysphinx may say that she prefers doubles. If so, then invite her to pick the male doubles partner of her choice, and you'll team up with Topaz.
Second, Cindysphinx may point out that she has sundry time constraints and distance issues. So you could suggest that you and Topaz would be willing to play anywhere in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Activities: Round Robin doubles, Radar Gun recording, Tar and Feathering of Zapvor, and possible Wood Racquet exhibition.

Why? Apparently everytime we mention it or start to get it organized, someone runs and hides. So we won't mention it anymore.

Lets just show up and play like last time with some added stuff. Radar gun, wood racquet exhibition, and maybe a song and dance.
P.S. Shintan. I was pretty close to buying this for you. However, I wasn't sure if you are a Large or a Medium. I'm guessing you know what it means. Just thought of you.
