Wasn't the hyper staff 6.5 really light? Why hasn't anyone guessed it to be the hyper pro staff 5.0? That model was heavier, and maybe the euro version came in 18 by 20?
I have a couple of 6.5s. Here are pics http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u81/caesar66/
I dont know if these help for comparison's sake, but if anyone wants me to take some specific ones for comparison with the racquet in question I'm happy to, I'll probably take some of the bumper guard just to show that it matches up.

why do you say that? people are saying the shape of it matches it and the head guard is the exact same... as the 6.5
Hey Caesar66, Whats the Pro Kennex racket in the photos? Looks to have a dense stringing pattern, is it from the old micro range? I used to play with blacked out micro prototypes from Kennex about 17 years ago, got amazing spin off them!! Now the thinking seems to be that get more spin off less dense patterns, tho my experience with the incredible micro's makes me wonder if thats true, have never managed to get as much spin off anything since!!

That was indeed a micro mid! I recently sold that stick. To be honest, i bought it for a good price from someone who didn't know what they had and actually never hit with it lol. Interesting about the spin though, I figured it would be an exceptionally flat hit, its a 90" frame with a 22x30 pattern!
Hyper Pro Staff 6.5 Tour extended (27.5")

Since no one answered my first question, what does PWS mean?
search panda! :O perimeter weighting system... at 3 and 9 o'clock. some wilson racquets have this extra thicker area--it adds weight and stability just like adding lead
I have three of these rackets at home... i got them from my coach... how do they play? (hyper prostaff 5.0/ 5.1)
Since no one answered my first question, what does PWS mean?
dude, as been mentioned in this thread, they're not the 5.0 or 5.1. they're the hyper pro staff 6.5s...
Anyone here ever hit with the HPS 6.5? How does it play?

I have some news for you
The European 18x20 edition of the Hyper Pro Staff Tour 95 has the same characteristics
racket is longer than 27 inches
what about the bumper guard? does it match up?
I know we are lucky to have a member to get his racquet, but can we SERIOUSLY have someone who knows that they are doing.
You say its longer then 27 inches but dont bother to post the real length. You post every couple of days with little tidbits of information. Still havent posted the balance.
Its a freaking racquet not a research paper. Its been a week since you got the racquet.
If you're a kid and dont have transportation then I understand and apologize.
I found those 2 HPS Tour 95 on the bay and bought them to try them.
the interesting thing about them and also the same feature is on Tsonga's raquet, is that it is a 18x20 but the pattern is more open.
Notice how the strings form a more open and more distributed pattern, unlikely the standard 18x20 that has the strings more concentrated in the middle.
This having more string in the same area would give a tighter stringbed than the 16x18 version but less tîght than the standard 18x20.
The same as how the K90 has a more open stringbed than the n90 or HPS Tour while having the samme 16x19 pattern.
I am expecting to receive them next week so I could try them on.
if i put this racket up on eastbay
would anybody buy it
if so, how much would u bid up to?
