it looks totally goofy and stupid. he wears regular 7" short with XXL shirt that look really weird. not to mention scheme is also worst.

he shouldve stick with reebook.

because it's what comfortable for him? I doubt he wears XXL as a fasion statement. Personally i like a well fitting shirt. Not tight, but just lose enough so it's not flapping around like a parachute.

I think it is bc of his habbit. You know how he always likes to take both ends of the sleeves before he serves and pops them up?

maybe he likes to have free movement and as was stated before he is a "large person" it is hard for him to do that with a smaller sized shirt. that would explain the sleeve popping as well, IMO.

Some guys just don't like tight shirts. A slightly baggy shirt actually dries faster when it is soaking wet compared to a super tight one.

he has an absurd sweating problem. its purely functional. look at his hat, the sweat goes all the way through the bill. ugh.

he still wouldn't be any faster, move any better;return better or would have great variety with a tighter shirt so it doesn't matter:roll:

dunno if it's just me.. but for some reason, more fitting shirts ride in my armpits when i play.. no idea why.. but like larger baggy shirts while on court as well

Yeah, Roddick's shirts are way too big on him.

I prefer the fitted shirts that Federer wears.

Much classier look, IMO. :)

yeah he actually wears a XL. its a size 7 in lacoste and his shirts back in the day with reebok were actually a tighter fitting material than that of the lacoste tennis line. just sayin

Probably because most Americans are overweight so would look terrible in fitted shirts. :(

Yeah, you really hate to place a whole grouping of people into one category, but I can somewhat agree with this statement. More people would wear nicer fitting clothes if they did not have a gut to get in the way.

However, more young people (I'm 25, so I'm thinking junior high and high school kids) are wearing tighter fitting clothes, fit or not. Styles have been changing, I guess more people need to notice.
