Not to mention one of the most ****-erotic movies of its time despite being a great recruiting ad for the Navy... too bad they high-lighted oiled up beach volleyball as a perk instead of scrubbing a mess deck!
Speaking of homefield... I hit up at baker park yesterday. Awesome weather for hititng balls! Too bad my first outing for my league match was alot rougher than I expected :/ I swear semi-competitive tennis is much easier when I had 2 good ankles and was 40lbs lighter ha!
Anyone getting out for some hits this week?

UPS arriving today with 4 new sticks. its like christmas. oh goody!
i played my drunken doubles match with the YYrqis. it was bizarre... i could place my practice serves on a dime and the kicked up nicely. then i start serving in the match and i double fault twice, then while trying to hit a soft spin serve out wide, i ace them down the T. then double fault... then ace.
it was awful. but eventually i was at least able to put them in the box.
i have a feeling once the match started the Twisted Wrister came back. when i am relaxed, i can do serious damage with that stick.
oh well, it got me through 1 match, now back to XXXtreme tennis!

Noon works for me if it works for you. Which place do you prefer? Nottoway is closer to my home, but it also gets crowded at times.
I see the ball in the first frame, and it looks like Allie has it tracked right to the center of her strings. Then I can't pick up the ball at all in the next 3 frames. Wot happened? I'm a soccer fan! My uncle played professionally. They wanted me to follow in his footsteps, but I decided on tennis instead. *shrug*. Anyways. I'm all U.S. and freak-in A.. unless they are playing Italy. Then ..it's every man for himself.
The World Cup was magical for me!!!
p.s. I never had any of any pro tennis sessions, back in the day, interrupted like this!

I'll let you know if I'm going to the Gold-cup game at RFK (US vs. Honduras). May have some other soccer fan peeps going with me.
We'll talk on the shoes. Don't mind getting rid of those Adidas shorts, but my allowance is going to some tech upgrades, so burning the Adidas shorts is a bit too expensive for me at this time....
BTW- JRK, Magma, H-Dub: Try Prototype for the Xbox 360. Tons of fun.

JRstriker - That game looks pretty cool... I haven't played my Xbox in forever. I get caught up playing bartender when I get home. I do play a ton of games on my iPhone though. There's a game called Peggle and it's addicting as hell... I can't stop playing that damn game.

Sup - Do you think I could just use a regular socket wrench to tighten the net cord? I looked in the net post and it looks like a regular hexagonal bolt is in there. I just don't want to break something, like my hand in the process. :-|

Sup,
Just tried the ATW pattern nad everyhitng went ok sorta. It sucks that everyother weave was a hard one. And I wasnt payin close enough attention and didnt weave the top and bottom crosses right.
the rule is odd if even, even if odd. But this stupid 325 is so awesome that the top cross crooses only 14 mains and the bottom cross crosses 16 mains. So I didnt pay close enough atentio and my bottom 2 crosses are weave the same.
Does that cause any damage to the racket? Because I just tied it off and figured Id be tolerable since it the crosses close to the throat.

The strings where the two crosses match will pull away from each other causing (imo) a small shift in the sweetspot. Shouldn't hurt your racquet too much. Not like you've let sappy string it.

had a league match last night. partner and i won 4 and 3 playing less than stellar tennis which is oddly satisfying. felt like trying to put together a piece of furniture from ikea only you're missing some of the parts and tools. so no topspin backhand, no lob, mediocre volleys, no topspin forehand. but we cobbled together a win. yay. team lost though 2 matches to 3. boo. *shakes fist*

OK thats kind of what i thought. I use it tonight and see how it feels. I used that Luxilon M2 pack from when they were givin them away for free. And I think I probably strung it up too tight so Itll be getting cut out soon anyway.

Yeah, it's cheap, but they don't sell it here anyway. I still have 4 of them, so it's alright. That one was beaten up beforehand and had to go...really. I lost the first set using that crap and lost 0-6. (a bad stringing job as well) Then, I switch it to Aerogel 100 (90 inch) and won the second set 6-1.
I learned from Safin, Federer, and Gonzo. Fed and Gonzo did pretty good this year.
