But breaking after only 30 min of feeding balls is extreme. I'd talk to your stringer if I were you. Try changing the string( for a similar one ), if this happens again then it's your stringer's fault.
'Ookie Cookie' said, "I strung my racket ..." I am guessing he pulled his crosses hand over hand through the mains but he did not say anything about how he strung his racket or where the strings broke.
Irvin
do you have pictures of where the string is breaking? maybe your grommet is cutting into your string somehow? or as that guy said about, maybe you are just pulling the string straight through, and prematurely notching them...
Hi Irvin: How do you like this, now you are referred to as "that guy"

Synthetic gut strings are not known for durability. I've broken PSGD after 3 sets before and I string for myself so I know it was not a stringing error.
Feeding balls may make your strings go dead
Your feed is a monster shot that makes the ball fly 300 feet in the air then fall on the court.
OP's racquet is 16.5 oz 17 pt HL. Synthetic string has no chance of withstanding that much force for - 30 min. His arm is going to break next.
Hahah yeah... it pays to have teaching frames and playing frames. Try hitting 4 carts worth of serves at kids in rapid fire with a kps!
Anyways. If those specs are true, you must have one helluva resistance to fatigue. But none the less, FEEDING doesn't put strain on the strings. One can basically flick a wrist and feed from the throat of the racquet. Feeding shouldn't shift or damage the strings in any shape or form.
And hey... if you're legit popping SG in 30 mins feeding I'd love to know what you manage to pop poly in hitting... you may give Jolly a run for his money!
