Good point, solid overhead.

Stosur through with what I guess is a huge upset. Sam seems to be doing great at the FO of late, her vs Serena might actually be a decent match.

WOW!!!!

She never really looked very good this year, I actually had her going out to Serena, and she was a bit lucky with Sharapova.

Oh well, Wimbledon is the one she really wants.

I was hoping for a Henin vs Williams match up. Anyway, not sure if Stosur can beat S.Williams. I just hope it's a competitive match.

Oh and Sam's got to learn to play without dark shades when it's cloudly. You can't play when you're covering your eyes like in the first set. (Sam took em off in the 2nd and 3rd lmao)

Wimbledon is FAR less likely for Henin. She's slow to the ball now and that will kill her on grass.

Comeone sammy!! i love u! she seems to be doing well on clay!
same with Jamalia Groth from Aus as well, 4th round vs yaroslava something from kaz.

IM so happy she won!! justine wasnt playing as well as 2007 tho anyway same was great.

in the QF i hope Serena wins, but i wouldnt mind if sam wins either however i want serena to win more.

That´ll be the meeting of the two most beefy chicks on the WTA Tour...

And the two strongest servers,supposedly.

Considering this is clay, anything can happen. Stosur definitely can beat Serena.

But I had Serena as the 2nd favourite after Henin to win the FO,so since Justine is out already I'll be hoping Serena gets to the SF at least.

It seems to me that Henin lost her confidence. Prior to her retirement there were no players that could dictate points against her like that. She just has no belief in her shots any more.

Anyway, Sam played unbelievably well in the last two sets and deservedly won the match. I hope she beats Serena as well.

Sadly Justine played awful. Broken left and right, double faults, non existent first serve.

Serena, will probably win RG now, Stosur isn't beating her.

Stosur has the game to beat Serena on clay, but I don't think it will happen. She will crumble under pressure.

Justine was a nervous wreck in those last couple games.

Hopefully she can pull herself together in time for Wimbledon.

It's always a matter of how you handle the nerves in those 2 or 3 key moments in a match; she handled those moments exquisitely before retiring. Of course it is a tall order to expect her to live up to that now

Henin needs to rethink this ultra aggressive approach!

I've said this all along--no pro should ever change a winning style this late in the career to win a sinlge title she's never won before with her best game. This match--and the AO final proves the case.

It seems like she is deciding to hit big before seeing what type of ball she gets, she become a ball basher, im afriad to say.

Sam did play fantastic and deserved to win though, it was a great performance from her.

Stosur has a good chance of making the finals!
Her serve especially the kick serve on clay will be a big advantage against Serena.

I thought she handled it quite well, Stosur just handled it better.;)

Stosur is learning to beat the big girls now...maybe we will have someone to cheer for :)

Mental Midget? Guess not. Nerves on serves, but learning...
