The Youtek Radical MP is the most flexible-TW has it listed at 59. The prestige MP= 63, Speed MP 16x 19 =63, 18 x 20=65, Extreme MP=66, Instinct =63...etc.

The Radical also has good feel, is soft and forgiving and easy to use. and has good control It also has room to customize.

After coming off a hand injury, I am switching at least temporarily back to customized Youtek Radical MPs from my Youtek Prestige MPs.

in terms of comfort, i've always found the PK redondo to be just as comfortable as the PC600 and PT280. Not as "buttery" in the sense that the PK isnt as muted, but it's still super comfortable. It might be worth a demo.

what a coincidence I was just looking at that frame on tw. The reviews are very promising.
Have you compared it with the black ace or with any frame fom the kintetic series?

Head youtek radical
Pro kennex Redondo or black ace
Volkl powerbrige 10

Would you consider an oversized racquet (e.g., Radical OS)?

Long strings help TE. Shanking really hurts TE. 2 points for OS.

+1 for the Redondo, totally alleviated my chronic shoulder pain and sporadic elbow pain. In addition to the flex I think the heft and stability really helps in the arm friendly department.

have you tried any other pk racs? Or heads?

I demoed around 16 racquets before settling on the Redondo mid, a lot of HEADs speed pro, YTKPP, YTKPMP, YTKRadMP, and I love the Prestige MP and own 2 iPrestige MP's now.

The Rad has the lowest flex rating of the HEAD lines, but I felt vibration that I just didnt w/ the Prestiges, so If it's gotta be a HEAD I suggest a Prestige.

I bought the iPrestiges thinking that the 95" head size would help a little in competition but now that I've gotten dialed in with the Redondos I dont know what Im going to do when spring rolls around. I dont think you, or I for that matter could go wrong w/ either racquet.

Whats the biggest difference between heads and the redondo?
For me it doesn't matter what brand it is, as long as it is a real players racquet which is armfriendly. I'm more into controll than power. I hit harder with these lowpowered racquets than my tennisfriends with stiff "popular" racquets.

I have both the Prestige and Radical. The radical is much more arm friendly and I don't feel vibrations from the Rad. The difference is that unless you lead up the Rad it is not very stable against heavy hitters. I customized the Rad and am very happy with it. The two sticks feel very different. The Radical is much softer. With the Rad, you don't feel mishits. If you're off even a very little, you feel it with the Prestige.

If you didn't have the injury, I would agree, go with the Prestige if you can handle it.

I own Head Graphite Edge, Graphite Edge TXE and i. prestige mid. I like the Graphite Edge TXE most. I haven't ever tried prestige classic 600.

Jelichek,

I remember reading a thread about PT630s and TMs. You seemed to really like the TM. Are you still playing the TM, or have you definitely gone the pro stock way?

Whatever Murray beat the GOAT with.

With lead tape added at 10 - 12 - 1

Strung with Luxilon and a tournagrip wrapped like Sampras' grip.

A Gulbis Wilson ProPlus dampener.

With a skull and cross bones stencil.

String savers all over the sweetspot.

If its any consolation I'm lounging in my villa on the couch with the remote in one hand and a raspberry margarita in the other. I'm wearing your favorite black knickers and I'm watching the 2001 Fed/Sampras Wimby match on my 200inch. My girlfriends Juliet and Maria just stopped by and are on the balcony. Maria just broke up with her bf and is very depressed.

You're welcome to join us.

Bring some wings and Miller Lite.
