The Lottos, Barricade IV stars/stripes have been worn a lot, some have been worn a little, and others not at all. I would have worn all of them more but I am currently on the sidelines after extensive shoulder surgery. Probably won't play until next spring or summer

Recent pickup off the bay. Not the greatest bargain but they happen to be my favorite shoes ever, and in my size (10). Not everyday you see that.

These are my last pair of CB1.3s, which are pretty much dead (hole in right outer), but playable if I don't need much traction.

Anyway, the stock obsidian coloured laces were shredded and broke, so I ordered some neon pink replacements, which match the colour scheme.

The pic is taken with my budget webcam, so naturally the fidelity of colour reproduction is poor. I think it is a big improvement

Now I have to find a new pair of these 1.3s, which won't be so straightforward. :evil:

Is it me, or are the new black ones slightly higher than the others?

Public service announcement of the day: Vapor Vi's are pretty good to wear on ice and snow!
Over the last few days, the UK has been hit with ridiculous amounts of snow and I literally have no shoes suited to it, so thought i'd give my black vapors a try. The herringbone tread worked a treat, and it was so cold that the flywire tightened up massively, so very secure!

Not really, no- they synthetic upper just seemed to soak up the cold and stiffen up spectacularly, but better cold than sprawled across the ice like a baby giraffe on roller skates (yes, i have been previously described as that)

Roger's custom shoes have a FIT-FRAME, unfortunately, Nike did not give it to the commercial version and in my opinion a shame.

yeah I play Tennis is running shoes...but it's what has felt the best and after spending more than half my life in ice skates latteral support is not a huge concern.

That and we have crappy up keep of our city courts and I don't care to ruin a $$$ pair of FEDAL shoes just so I can look cool. So I just buy in bulk from Vietnam and save money.

Vapor V and VI have really good FitFrame, imo. The VII was non-existed, maybe that's why Nike took it out for the retail on VIII...?

Yes, I'm looking for the white/white 9.5US and I would like to sell a pair of the same shoe in a 10US (with three hours of usage on a synthetic grass surface, almost no wear at all). Anyone intereseted?

Yeah but they seem a little wider than running shoes to me I found my first pair at an outlet store. one thing I like is it has a hard plastic toe guard sp the front of the shoe hold shape and I don;t get that Jamming toe feeling I have with other shoes.

Yeah thats actually the original reason I got them because of my work schedule often I was running at night and wanted a highly visible shoe...one day I playe a pick up game of tennis and didn't have my regular gear with me and just played in those and was the first time I played and didn't have my feet killing me afterwards so I have never gone back.

Most I have bought at one time was 4 pairs but it saved me $126

Nope, I wore them first on our public courts and even scuffed my foot to see if they would leave a mark before I used them during any visitor matches on private club courts (out of courtesy)

so the only marks I leave on the courts are oval shaped and made of felt.

Picked up my new CB 3.3's today and went for a hit.

Wore them with a pair of thorlo socks.

They definitely need breaking in and did cause some discomfort to start with. After three hours of hitting, they loosened up and were more comfortable.

Need to break them in more though.
